"Oh, Ophelia, you've been on my mind girl since the flood
Oh, Ophelia, heaven help a fool who falls in love"

"Gryffindor's gonna win, one hundred percent," I spoke confidently as Sirius, Remus, Peter and I strode down to the greenhouses

"Gryffindor's gonna win, one hundred percent," I spoke confidently as Sirius, Remus, Peter and I strode down to the greenhouses. "Tomorrow is our first match we'll attend here, how exciting is that?"

"Pretty exciting," Sirius responded, probably not knowing what else to respond.

"Godric, show more excitement, mate," I shook my head.

"I've never seen a single quidditch match," Peter said behind me, my chubby friend trying his best to walk next to me, but he couldn't quite keep up.

I stopped in my tracks. "So... you're telling me... you've never seen quidditch before?" I asked in shock, placing the back of my hand on my forehead.

"No?"

"You- you've never- you- I think I'm going to faint—"

"Cut the dramatics, James," Remus butted in suddenly, the tall boy had been silent this whole time. Though his voice was stern, he still wore a smile.

"Oi! I'm not dramatic," I crossed my arms, looking the other way.

"'I think I'm going to faint'," Sirius mocked, nudging me with his elbow, a grin on his face.

"'Not my hair! Not my beautiful hair'," I shot back, squinting my eyes at him before pushing my glasses further up the bridge of my nose.

"This beautiful hair just has to be protected, Fleamont."

"My hair is also beautiful, Onion."

"Not you bringing my father into this," Sirius fake barfed.

The greenhouses were hot and had a funny smell.

"I still don't like it in here," I mumbled and walked to a free spot, the boys and I being separated from each other.

"Marls, you shouldn't touch that," someone spoke from beside me and when I turned to look at the soundsource, I saw Y/n Y/l/n. Marlene was trying to touch a weird looking plant. I stood up straighter once I saw her. Gotta impress, right? "Marlene, you really should not touch that," she said, laughing at her friend.

"I'm going to touch i—"

But before she could finish her sentence, professor Beery had entered. "Good morning, first years!"

"Good morning, professor Beery!"

The thin man walked to the front of the greenhouse.

"Is everyone there?"

There was an awkward silence in which Sirius and I exchanged a glance.

"Good. Today, we're gonna talk about Devils Snare."
