"Chapter 1 - Kami-sama's Offer"

"W-wait... Did I hear that right? Go back? A-as in go back in time!?" How is that possible?! The blond leader mentally screeched earning a low growl from the back of his mind, his ocean blue eyes wide casting upon it a spark of hope, ultimately he forgot that he was talking to goddess.

Kami-sama's face was covered in the finest of silk similar to her outfit of pure white and glistening gold from the accessories, charms, and different luxurious embrodiment wrapped around said individual. Regardless of how many trinkets stuck to her she looked... Beautiful... Or maybe ethereal is a better word for such refinement and dignity. Indeed a goddess whose beauty is unrivaled.

"Now now young Uzumaki," she started, "It is merely an offer... If you wish not to accept then I'll leave you be, after all us gods are not allowed to meddle with the people in the mortal plane however I don't see any other living beings here except for you three, further without the mortal plane the balance will tip to the deities and it will mot be good for anyone." She said ignoring the blond's unamused snort. Kami-sama smiled at him before turning to his other companions, an Uchiha and a Nara, an unusual but strong combination. "Hokage-sama, I think we should accept it. If we were to go back in time with the knowledge of the future it is guaranteed that there would at least be a change in our past time." the Uchiha ANBU Commander voiced to his leader. It is possible but the problem is whether we go back with our current bodies or merge with out younger selves, plus if we do we'd have to increase our chakra reserves faster than before if we want to stop the Akatsuki, Madara, Obito, Kaguya, and the Juubi. Mou... Too much to do! The blond thought scratching his head. There were too many factors to consider and how would they tell his Jiji, the Sandaime, what's going on?! Or would they even have to tell him? Or what if some certain people caught on? Like Shikaku? Or worse Danzo! No no, that would be impossible to pull!

The blond was starting to harshly pull on his golden locks when the Nara, his Second-in-Command and Advisor, spoke. "Kami-sama, since Naruto seems to be overthinking again, may I ask a question?"

Oh my god! Thank you for saving me the trouble Shikamaru! The Uzumaki cheered as he looked at the Nara with starry eyes.

"Shut up you darn brat!" a fox with nine tails roared in his head. Uwaa~! Kurama! Don't shout! The blond complained covering his ears as the Kyuubi roared once more, kicking him out of his own mindscape. Hmph! Rude.

Kami-sama nodded giving the Nara the permission to speak, "Regarding going back into the past, will we be in our younger body or no?" And the goddess answered. "You'll be in your younger body, of course you'd still carry your knowledge and your chakra with you because it is connected to your mind and soul. There will be a consequence however, but I cannot be certain on what it will be for it is different for each people." As she finished she earned a series of nods from the three shinobi, the Uchiha once again turned to the Uzumaki, "So dobe, your decision? We will follow with whatever you decide..."

Naruto looked over at the Nara who gave him a nod in return, okay then. He turned to Kami-sama got on down on own knee, bowing at the goddess his subordinates following after him. "We accept the offer, your Excellency. Please send us back."

"Very well... Good luck my dear children..."

And with that came another blinding light before they found themselves shrouded in darkness, exhausted they shut their eyes and slept waiting to wake up in their past bodies once again.
