"Chapter 3 - Damn Inuzukas!"

She was making her way to the academy, looking around the village with a look of nostalgia. The village had changed so much during the Fourth Shinobi War, it became a place of refuge as well as a camp for all, civilians and shinobi alike, because other Hidden Villages and resources had vanquished, no more Konoha, Suna, or any other places... All gone. But she was back, first she'll find Shikamaru and Sasuke then they'll make plans.

"Oi Naruto!!"

Her train of thoughts were cut off by someone calling her name, turning around she saw Kiba, he died by getting crushed under a meteor after he collapsed from chakra exhaustion, she inhaled sharply, Choji, he volunteered to distract Madara only to be struck on the heart by a chakra rod, she gulped, Shino, was killed by a Zetsu pretending to be Hinata who struck all his chakra points before landing a killing blow, she shuddered, and lastly Shikamaru... Oh how glad she was to see him, he was indeed back with her if the knowing look was enough to get by, now all they need is Sasuke-teme!

"Yo Kiba! Shino, Choji, Shika!" She greeted them placing his hands behind her head to hide its shaking while cold sweat started dripping from everywhere she touched, hopefully Shikamaru doesn't notice though it's probably useless he wasn't Second-in-Command for nothing y'know!

As the four boys stopped infront of the blonde she beamed, of course she was happy seeing her friends again albeit that it was actually weird seeing the dead once again, oh well. She stopped when she noticed Kiba sniffing her, Okay personal space please? She thought sarcastically, "Hey buddy, do you smell that too?" She heard Kiba ask his partner, Akamaru (who by the way is back to being super tiny and cute!)

The pup barked as it wagged its tail, jumping down the Inuzuka heir's head and onto the Uzumaki's arms. "Ano... Naruto? Why do smell like a g—"

Upon understanding what he was about to ask she covered his mouth her other arm still holding the ninken, "Ah ha-ha-ha! What are you talking about Kiba? I don't know what you're talking about!" She said awkwardly, dammit Inuzukas and their keen sense of smell! The thought of someone knowing full well about her gender change irked her, she did not expect it to be revealed so easily and early too! She grabbed the brunette's hand and smiled her foxy grin, though she didn't know she looked so cute doing that nor did she see the blush on the other boys' cheeks, "Can I talk to you for a sec? Great." She pulled the darn mutt with her in an alley and sighed as she let go of her hold on his hand. That was awkward!

She leaned on the wall as she ran a hand through her hair, ruffling it in frustration. "Naruto?" Kiba called her again, her eyes landed on him as they shined under the light being casted down into the dark alleyway, thump thump! Was a sound she faintly heard but ignored. "So... Uh... Can you not tell anyone? That, y'know, that I'm a girl?" The blonde asked.

"Uh sure. But since when?" The brunette asked, shit. She was gonna have to lie, fuck what was she gonna say?! She could say it's a henge? But that won't explain why she smells like a girl, maybe if she say the henge becomes a full transformation because of her large chakra reserves? No that won't work, Kiba wouldn't believe that... Or would he? No, nevermind. Or maybe she can— she got an idea.

"Well I found out when we started at the academy, I thought it was fake but then I remembered when Iruka-sensei told us about the concept of Genjutsu and I thought maybe a genjutsu was placed on me as a baby to hide my gender, so no one knows. Not even Jiji, so please keep this a secret..." Perfect! Man, if only I can pat myself on the back because that was a great backstory! The Inuzuka scratched his cheeks, darn this changes a lot of things. "Sure I guess... I'll help you and keep it a secret!" He grinned showing off his sharp canines. They made their way back to the other three boys and headed to the academy.

This is gonna be a long and tiring day...
