Bittersweet

Chapter 1

Kyouya ootori, the seemingly perfect child, good grades, introverted, clever and intuitive. But in the Ootori dynasty; he's just another cog in the machine, never destined to have the title of 'Ootori' and constantly being ignored. Hence why he tries above and beyond to impress his father despite being destined for oblivion from the start, working his ass off just to prove, well nothing.

Then Tamaki Suoh runs into the picture. An obnoxious ignorant idiot with no idea what self control is, constantly just prancing around with no idea what he's doing. And even worse he's an only child, meaning he'll have the Suoh throne. Peaking kyouya with rage. Despite all this they're 'best friends' at least that's what Tamaki calls the duo. Kyouya prefers the term 'beneficial' but non-the less they're still companions. And Ootori hates it. For gods sake he agreed to make a whole host club for him. Granted, it was a financial success and a great excuse to show off his business skills. But it was still a waste of his time.

On the topic of Tamaki Suoh being an ass, there he was chattering away to the third Ootori son. Obviously Kyouya was zoning him out, how would listening to Suoh help him in the long run, he was deep in thought until he heard from Tamaki:

"Yeah I think I might be going back to France..."
Kyouya stopped what he was doing and slowly turned his head to Tamaki. "WHAT?!" He was flabbergasted that he would even think of such a thing. What about the host club? Haruhi? The guests?
"Pipe down, were u even listening? It's for vacation with my dad, Yknow the chairman?" For once Tamaki looked like the reasonable in this situation.
"Yeah sorry..." Kyouya sighed in relief, he was actually worried for a second. He didn't know why though, he hated Suoh and everything to do with him.
"I don't think I'm gonna go though, finals are coming up and I don't wanna get bad scores." Now it was kyouya's turn to zone out.

"Yeah sure do whatever you want..." he mumbled and went back to his laptop.
