(Adrien's POV)

Around noon, I gained cat whiskers and it was very ticklish due to the senses tingling in my whiskers. It's no wonder that cats go crazy when they sense danger or go hunting for mice. If these mutations keep on going, I'll lose my ability with walking like a human. Stay on your human mind, Adrien. You're still a human.

I was at the dining table eating salmon meat that Nathalie served for me and father is not here as usual again. It makes me so angry that I pound my fist on the table, hard, it nearly broke. I guess I developed superhuman strength since were-creatures have enhanced strength.

"Adrien, I know your father is not here but he's busy with meetings. I'm sorry" Nathalie said with a calm state.

"And? He said he was gonna send me to a zoo if I lose my humanity! His own son!" I looked at her with angry slit eyes.

"He didn't mean it. He was afraid" Nathalie assured me.

"He doesn't trust Ladybug enough but I trust her. She's working very hard to create a cure. What else is he hiding from me? Is it because of my looks that remind him of my mother?" I growled like a panther and just aggressively ate a chunk of fish meat.

"Yes, the disappearance of your mother affected him greatly. I know he may not seem like it but deep down he does not want to lose you." Nathalie said.

"Nathalie, it's been a long time since my mom disappeared. People move on, they don't live in the past. Father needs to move on and focus on what's right in front of him. I moved forward with my life when I chose to go to a real school because I didn't have friends. My friends are like a family to me. I'm tired of my father leaving me in the dark" I sighed and I ate aggressively. Instead of using utensils, I just used my hands.

Nathalie sighs looking away. It's time I tell her something so that she can tell my father this.

"I've been isolated and lonely in my house, Nathalie. He doesn't see how I feel but you do. Someday when I'm 18, I moving out and living my own life" I said, finishing my meal and just head to my room.

I could hear her whisper "Oh Adrien." before everything went quiet.

"Kid, don't be so hard on Nathalie. She's just looking out for you" Plagg said.

"Yeah. She's the closest I have to a mother." I said.

"Except your father has no interest in a secretary," Plagg said, munching on his Camembert cheese.

"No, but at least I got many friends too. But for now, it's for the best I remain hidden so they don't see my monstrous form." I looked at myself in a mirror.

Like hours ago, Nino texted me to spend some time but I told him that I'm forced to remain home since I have the flu. I hate lying but I just wanna convince him that I'm not feeling well.

He was convinced and I even told Marinette to tell the same thing to the rest of the class.

While looking at my reflection in the mirror, it's getting hard to remember my human self. Marinette gave me the magical charm that was supposed to be for Lila but she insisted that I keep it so that I don't get akumatized. She fears that my aggression will trigger an akuma to feed off my negative emotions.

"Lila may be cruel but I hope one day that everyone in the school knows that she's an awful liar and likes to cause harm with rumors of lies," I said.

"Well, she has been akumatized a lot lately," Plagg said, finishing his camembert cheese.

"Probably because she and Shadow Moth hate Ladybug," I said with my fists clenched.

"I just hope for one thing she does not become the Hawk Moth or Shadow Moth of the future," Plagg said.
