(Marinette's POV)

The next morning, I see Adrien curled up like a cat which is kinda adorable. Especially that tail not moving. I see he looks the same last night.

"My sweet kitty." I petted his ears.

He purred in his sleep which was actually really cute but soon he woke up and looked at me, "Morning milady."

"Morning, kitty. I see you slept well." I said and pet his ears.

"Yeah, never slept any better." He smiled.

"And we gotta head back to your mansion. This time you stay as Adrien. But first, I gotta call Rena Rouge from my bug phone to create an illusion of Cat Noir. Nobody must know that you're the real Cat Noir" I said.

"But you should also tell her that Adrien is Cat Noir and the werecat same time. She's very good at keeping secrets from the time we first met. And don't forget that I'm starving too. How about breakfast first? Can't go without an empty stomach, right?" Adrien suggested and he's right.

"You're right. I don't wanna leave my poor hungry kitty here. And hopefully, I'll give Rena a memory-erasing potion since she can't know that you're Cat Noir." I teased him and he rolled his cat eyes.

"Agreed" He nodded.

(Adrien's POV)

Marinette brought pancakes, bacon, and milk for me as well as herself too. She knew I have a big appetite due to my predatory instincts like big cats. She didn't mind that I ate like an animal because I can't fight the urge to eat like a human.

"Well, Ummm...I hope you enjoyed it." Marinette said with an awkward smile.

I blushed in embarrassment that I couldn't eat normally, "I did but if only I had my human nature back. Sorry I'm becoming like an animal"

"I'm really worried now." Marinette looked down in sadness.

"Hey, I know you'll find the last ingredient to make that potion. My mother once told me that finding the answers is found in plain sight. You can't see what's there, you just gotta follow the wind" I said, putting my hand on her cheek, "Think of it like ancient times. Egyptians used to worship cats because they probably believe they're mysterious or like gods"

"That gives me an idea," Marinette said.

"What idea?" I raised a brow in confusion.

"An Egyptian relic might be the answer to it all," Marinette said.

"No. The miraculous is made from the ancient Chinese, not the Egyptians. That miracle box has the Chinese Zodiac animal signs, Marinette. Master Fu taught us a bit about it before he passed his declaration to you" I said, drinking a glass of milk.

"I guess you're right. I'll take your advice. After all, you did get straight A's in school" Marinette said.

"Thanks. I speak a few languages too. Now let's hurry to get to my mansion" I suggested.

"Right. Hopefully, your father doesn't freak out." Marinette said and transformed into Ladybug, using her bug phone to voicemail Rena Rouge to do the plan again.

We waited for 5 minutes until the illusion Cat Noir appeared in the room. He didn't talk but just stood there like having no human soul. I jumped to the open trapdoor to the balcony while Ladybug and illusion Cat Noir came behind me.

"Hand on tight, kitty" Ladybug carried me and leaps from roof to roof.

I held on tight while she carried me. Especially my tail wrapped around her waist since I can't control my tail reflexes.
