Photoshoot

I don't know much about photoshoots, cover ads, or any times of ads since I never been in one nor what they do to get things ready for the ad. So I did my best for this chapter.

(Adrien's POV)

The next day I'm back at school and this time, Ladybug brought me the contact lens early this morning like she remembered, to hide my feline eyes. My sclera didn't turn green but my round pupils turned into slits. Man, it's like having a snake or a cat's eyes. Reminds me of when I was once Snake Noir.

"Well least those lenses are convincing," I said to myself.

"What's that, bro?" Nino asked.

"Nothing. Just thinking of my photoshoot" I made an excuse while finishing up my algebra test.

"Okay. Well, I heard Chloe was gonna be in it." Nino said.

"I don't think she'd work," I said.

"Like the time she forced us to make a movie about herself as Queen Banana?" Nino still remembers it.

"Yeah, like she'll do the same on my Agreste ad. This time, I'm choosing the right girl to be in my photoshoot. Chloe and Lila are not my best options" I said as I flipped my test paper so no one copies and that I already finished answering them.

"Who?" Nino asked.

"I dunno, Marinette?" I shrugged.

"I thought Kagami would be your best option," Nino thought.

I left out a sad sigh ever since Kagami broke up with me, "She's not seeing me again, Nino. We didn't work out"

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. So Marinette is your best option then?" Nino said.

"Yeah, after all, she's a great designer," I said.

After class was over, I head outside to find Marinette saying goodbye to her best friend Alya. Okay, kitty. Time to ask her now. I just hope she doesn't stutter too much. I mean I don't mind her stuttering, she's just too shy to talk to me.

"Hey, Marinette." I greeted her first.

"Adrien? Oh hi, how are you...I mean what do you want?" She asked me.

"Uh, well.... there's this photoshoot for Halloween and I was wondering if you can be in my photoshoot. Photographers are looking for a girl to be in with me and I thought maybe you can be in it" I said shyly, hiding my sharp canines so she doesn't see it.

"Umm...Well...I have nothing planned so why not?" Marinette said.

"Thanks, Marinette. The photoshoot starts at the Montparnasse Tower. See you there" I smiled with my lips closed.

"Okay, Adrien. I'll be there." Marinette waved goodbye.

I gotta admit, she smells like strawberries too. Just like milady. Could she be....Ladybug? Nah, it's probably my senses messing with me. Any girl can have the same scent. Reminds me of when I stupidly sniffed milady covered with air freshener at the bakery.

I got in my bodyguard's car and we head home.

I walked inside my mansion to see my father standing there as usual with his emotionless glance.

"I expect you to smile good, Adrien. This Halloween magazine ad will be on the cover along with your partner. Do not fail me this time" Father said with a cold tone.
