Dauntless Queen~ A Divergent Eric Love story

Kill me.

The dauntless get into lines as we lay out guns, the plan is that we take control f the citizens, then gather the leaders at the Hub and execute them.

I watch over the lines and a divergent pops out,

"I got this." I say and I walk up to them,

"What's going o-" he sad but I shoot him before he can finish.

"Harry split them into 4 groups one to each faction, kill anybody that gets in the way, Thomas you gather the candor leaders, Andrew get amity, harry get abnegation, I'll get erudite." I say getting my guns loaded,

"Open the gates!" Andrew yells and he runs in front of the amity group.

"Good luck boys! First one with leaders gets Carter!" Thomas yells and jumps onto a moving truck loaded with people.

"Don't worry I'll invite you all to our wedding once I get my leaders first," Harry says riding away on his motor cycle.

"Yeah whatever," I say runnin with my group to the trains, we all jump on with ease.

*before the simulation started at dinner-*

We're all laughing and cheering then suddenly everybody falls to the floor, I look around confused, what the fuck is going on. I try to shake will up but they're all out cold. I see a camera moving in the corner of my eye, I pretend to be wobbly so whoevers watching thinks I'm under as well, I fall to the floor and close my eyes.

Seconds later everybody gets up and walks over to the warehouse, there are guns and vests waiting for us, are we about to fight? I follow along as everybody gears up, I see the leaders walking down laughing,

Andrew walks over to me and I pretend to be a lifeless soldier like the rest.

"Such a beautiful girl, once all this is over, you'll be mine." He says sadisticly and kisses my cheek. He then hurries back over to the group.

"Quadrant two! Follow me." Thomas says, my group walks over in a line and I follow. I see eric run off and the others go in their separate directions. We walk over to candor that's right next door, we burst in through the doors, a young candor man walks in front of thomas and he kills him with no thought. We walk over the now lifeless candor,

"First half follow me, second half take control," he says the back half leaves to gather up the people. We walk theough the white hallways,

"Carter with me, rest of you scout out the hall ways." He orders and they follow. I follow thomas to the leadership conference room.

"Everybody on the floor now!" He yells with his gun up in the air. All the leaders go to the ground, I see a few familiar faces from the ball and I breaks my heart, the look of betrayal upon their faces.

"Now all of you will come with me to the hub, I won't hesitate to shoot." He says cocking his gun, "matthews, cuff all of them." He says, I stop and point my gun at his head

"Gun on the floor!" I yell at him, he looks utterly shocked as he lowers his gun to the floor

"I thought you were under the sim." He says calmly.

"I'm not as vulnerable as you think I am tommy," I say, he cracks his neck still looking away from me with hisback towards me

"You're right, you're not AS vulnerable," he chuckles, "but baby," he pushes my gun away and pins me against the wall, "you're still just an initiate," he says as he cuffs my arms behind me.

"45! 46! Take Carter to the hub. She's no longer needed here." He says his words biting like a snake.

Minutes later were at the hub. I see eric guarding some people, they're familiar. The twins and my mother,

"CUDDY! What the hells going on?" The twins ask,

"I don't know, but when this is fucking over im murdering all of you!" I say mostly at eric

"Carter, these plans were happening way be-"

"That's bullshit eric! You're throwing away lives!"

"You're the one that advocated for it! Don't pull that card on me." eric says sternly

"That was before I started to like you guys then you play me like a pawn."

"Tie her down. Let's get this over with." Eric says to a mindless dauntless. They bring a chair over and tie me to it, they line up all of the leaders in front of me,

"I guess this can be part of your initiation." Eric says cocking his pistol
"As a dauntless leader, you are to do what's best for your faction."
He points a gun at the amity leaders head. She's crying her eyes out and I can't Help but feel my heart shatter, she's an innocent. Eric pulls the trigger and she falls to the floor.
"You can't be burdened with cowardice." He continues and shoots marcus eaton, my eyes start to water, even with his past marcus was a good man.
"Stop.." I say just above a whisper trying to hold my tears in.
He then shoots another abnegation leader.
"Stop they didn't do anything wrong!" I say bawling my eyes out, I look to my side frantically to see thomas, harry and Andrew standing side by side with hands infront of them.
"Don't just stand there do something!" I scream as eric moves towards the candor, Andrew gives me a sad look. They can't do anything. They don't want to do anything. Eric shoots the eldest candor.
"Eric stop!" I try to wiggle out of the ropes
"You heartless son of a bitch four was right about you!" I scream with tears running down my face.
His jaw tenses at my remark but then moves on to the next person. Then, he gets to erudite, my mother, my father,
Henry and Joseph.
"Please no! Eric no!" He shoots my mother. Then quickly my father. My parents are gone, and I never said goodbye. Eric takes a break to reload his gun,
"Henry joey...I'm not ready for you guys to leave me. This is all my fault I could've saved you.." I say crying

"We've had a good run loves," Henry says with a sympathetic smile,

"None of this is your fault," joey finishes

"Just know that.." Henry starts

"We really do love you." Joey says

"You may not love us back, but we've always loved you." Henry says

"And we always will." Joey smiles sadly. Eric walks over with his gun cocked and loaded. He points it to the back of joeys head,
"I'm gonna miss you Carter." Joey says tilting his head back

"Joey-..no!" I scream then eric fires.

"Joey!" I scream with my eyes flooding, eric moves to Henry and he's crying.

"Till we meet again loves," Henry says then I watch the life leave him. He shoots Henry and I loose my voice. Somebody lets me loose and I run over to the lifeless twins

"Don't leave me! Henry! Joey! Wake up! Please wake up! Wake up damn you!" I shake them hoping this is all just a simulation.

"I love you too. I love you too.." I say shaking back and forth with them in my arms. I fall back unable to hold myself up, they're gone and I can never see them again. I throw a tantrum of tears, I feel arms wrapped around me, they're thomas',

"No..get away from me..get the hell away from me!" I scream

"Carter Theres nothin I could've" he starts

"You have all the power in the world! Yet you couldn't spare a few lives, my best friends, my brothers, for what? You power hungry prick! You are a coward! You call yourself dauntless, get the hell away and let me mourn and be sad, let me be weak." I say meaning every word.

There's this thing about sad events like this, you can either let them hurt you, or let them make you stronger.

"Kill me." I say

"What?" Thomas asks gob smacked

"Kill me. What's the use of being here if everything I've worked for is gone and broken."

"Harry, put her under the sim." Thomas nods to harry

"Kill me! Kill me!" I scream throwing the chair and trying to pull my hair out, soon I feel a needle in my neck and everything goes black,

I let this hurt me. Let this hurt me. This hurt me. Hurt me. Kill me.
