Newt- lost pt.2

Y/n's POV

I had recently discovered that I am certainly not immune to the flare and that I and on the verge to turning into a full time crank. Yes coo-coo in the head.

It has beef agars since I have last seen the gladers and I was missing everyone deeply. Newt especially. I was just limping across the last city as a random cranky dude had just blown himself up so everyone could get through.

I was making my way over to some people to ask for help when I realised who it was...

Thomas, Minho and Newt were soaking wet panting, looking bewildered at some guy I front of them. No way... was that Gally?

I think they would still recognise me. I have changed quite a bit. Well a soon as I legged it and I had found a place to be safe I cut my hair to my shoulders. I didn't do a very good job at it though but I would do for then. I had dark veins, almost popping out of my skin and let's not forget my black and red eyes with the little touch of back goo coming out of my mouth.

I approached the group. I saw Thomas and the rest looked at me, he knew didn't he. But I ignored him and looked around at Gally, peering over his shoulder to see it was actually him. It was...

"GALLY!" I screamed clinging onto him. He just froze as I let go. "I-I thought you died" I cried looking at him.

I was about to say how much I'd missed him so much when a weird feeling came over me. The same feeling I had felt over and over again for the last few weeks.

Unexpected I charged at him and tackled him to the ground. Making strange noises as I wrapped my hands around his neck choking him until I came back to my senses.

I quickly scrambled off of him as I look at the others. They were looking at me wide eyed. I turned back to Gally to see him struggling on the floor. I went to help him but he flinched away. I brought my hand up got my face.

"Hey love it's ok-" he started but he was so wrong.

"NO ITS NOT. CAN'T YOY SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!" I screamed looking at him in the eyes.

"Love look at me" he said calmly and pulled down him jacket collar and pulled up his sleeves. The same black veins were on his skin too.

"Shuck Newt" I cry coming up to him. "Come here guys, group hug" I sniff bringing them all in.

You were hugging when you feel something coming up your throat. You quickly back away and throw up. You see black every where.

Thomas comes to your side with Gally. "It's ok, Brenda will be here any second" Thomas whispered rubbing your back.

"Yeah look here she comes" Minho calls. I feel really bad for Minho. I know he was just trying to protect Thomas.

I sighed as I saw a girl who was supposedly called Brenda, running towards us through the thick, smokey air. She had a blue injector in her hand and as she got here she chucked it at me.

"I guess you are Y/n." She greeted me and i smiled back looking down at the cure.

"I would just like to say some things first" I look up at them all.

"Minho, I'm so sorry for being angry at you, I know you mean well and that you would never do anything or harm me. You were just looking out for Thomas. You will always and forever be the coolest best friend ever." I laugh and he laughed through tears. "Thomas. I am so proud of you. I remember when you were just a poor little greenie. Asking questions non-stop and look at you now. You lead everyone out of them maze. You were always a  bigger brother to me when Gally was busy and a great friend in general." I say through sniffs "Gally, you are the best brother a little sister could hope for. I can't believe that I almost lost you and for a long time I had though that the angels had taken you early. You are so brave and kind even though sometimes you can be a bit grumpy" I giggle as he hits me on the shoulder laughing with me. "And Newt you are the best boyfriend I could if ever had. I am so sorry for leaving you and I'm so sorry for doing this." I smile as his smile turned into a confused frown.

"What do you mea-" he started before I jabbed the vaccine into newt chest.

"AHHHHH AGHHHH" newt screamed as he dropped to the floor. I cried as I dropped as well the virus getting to me to much so I couldn't handle it.

"Wh-why Y/n? You don't have anything I save you" he cried but I just emailed at him while the others crouched down to our level.

"You already saved me" I smile grabbing the gun out of his pocket.

"No, Y/n, no!"

Bang!

Hello everyone. I hope you all liked the end of this story. I thought it was goodish, so I hope you guys did as well. I might of cried while writing this but you'll never know. I'll update again as soon as possible.
