Getting that bag

Y/N's POV:

I just finished the grocery run, I earned like 200 dollars from that. Someone told me I was charging too much which was understandable so I dropped it down a bit but literally everyone in this neighborhood is rich so I didn't think it was that much of a big deal.

I stopped my motorcycle and posted up to the front of the house.

Wow! That is a huge house.

The job description said only the married couple, their three daughters, and the wife's mom lived here. But aye, get it I guess.

(It's not actually this dark outside)

(It's not actually this dark outside).

I gripped my book bag tightly. I was planning on changing since it's hot and I'm gonna be working outside for a while. Plus I didn't have any other reason to bring it, the family already had the equipment.

I knocked on the door then backed up a little, waiting for someone to answer.

It was long until a older woman opened the door and greeted me with a big smile.

"You must be the new grounds keeper. I'm Andrea Hamiliton." She said sweetly extending her arm for me to shake.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Y/N Jackson." I said shaking her hand firmly.

"I swear I've heard that name before. Have I seen you before?" She asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"I don't think so. But you also seem quite familiar." I said looking just as confused as she was.

"Maybe my husband knows. Come in, come in!" She said opening the door for me and motioning me to walk in.

I nodded my head as I thank you as I examined the inside of the house. It was just as beautiful as the outside and looked a whole lot more bigger.

"HONEY! THE GROUNDS KEEPER IS HERE!" Mrs. Hamiliton yelled suddenly, causing me to jump.

"JEEZ WOMAN! RELAX WIT THE YELLING!" I heard a deeper voice yell from the top of the stairs. I tried my best to stiffle a laugh.

"You're right on time. Starting off great al- Oh my gosh. Is that who I think it is?!" A man in a polo short and cargo pants yelled in excitement as he ran down the stairs.

"Y/N Jackson! Long time, no see! How have you been? Still the strong young lady I remember." Mr. Hamiliton asked, getting a grip of my biceps.

That familiar style, Mrs. Hamiliton's smile, the smell of lavender and apple pie around the house...

Oh shit!

I'M SUCH AN IDIOT! HOW DIDN'T I REALIZE! I SHOULD'VE KNEW FROM THE NAMES!
