Mias POV:
I packed a bag of just some clothes and my toothbrush, and threw it over my shoulder.
'Where are you going?' He asked, walking into the room.
'We always fight and sleep together after like It's no big deal. So I'm gonna go home, or go to Kie's or something, just for the night.' I replied.
'What does or something mean?' He asked.
'I dunno Rafe I just can't be here with you right now.' I said.
'I want you to go home. If I find out you've gone to JJ's I will beat the shit out of him so bad he'll look like a bruised banana.' He said, bluntly.
'Okay.'
'Kiss me before you go.' He asked.
I grabbed his waist and kissed him, squeezing him tight.
'Give me a call if you need anything, I'll come and pick you up in the morning.' He said, kissing my head one more time. I nodded, taking my hot water bottle and teddy from the bed and throwing them into my bag too. I walked the short distance to my house and let myself in, taking my bag to my room. It was pitch black outside, and I heard Topper let himself in a few minutes after me. I went to say hi to him, before getting changed into my pyjamas.
'I'd love to stay up and chat but I'm so tired, I've been out all day with Kelce.' He yawned.
'Oh okay, goodnight.' I smiled. He headed to bed and I did too, making sure to lock all of the doors and windows. I left mine slightly open because my room hadn't been aired in a while and It was boiling hot. I turned my tv on but didn't end up watching anything. 

JJ🏄🏼‍♂️: hey I was waiting up for you, I take it you're not coming over??

Me: hey sorry J, Im staying with Topper tonight. Thank you so much

JJ🏄🏼‍♂️: it's okay, sleep well, I'll see you soon. Goodnight xx

I put my phone on charge and left it on the side, falling asleep almost instantly. After a few hours, I woke up to the sound of my window opening. I turned my light on, my hands shaking, to see Rafe in the window.
'What're you doing here? It's 4am!' I hissed.
'I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep without you and I was beginning to panic.' He whispered.
'Whos with Wheezie!' I exclaimed.
'Rose came home today, she said she'd take care of her. I had to come and see you.' He said softly. I opened my arms to him and waited for him to kick his shoes off, before getting into bed with me.
'I was gonna lock my window too.' I laughed.
'I'm glad you didn't.' He said, burying his head into my neck.
'You've got a bad sleeping problem Rafe.' I whispered.
'You're just the only one who makes me feel safe.' He replied, moving his hand to my stomach.
'You okay?' I asked.
'Yeah, I'm just saying goodnight to my beautiful daughter.' He said, kissing above my belly button.
'How do you know it'll be a girl?' I asked.
'I feel it.' He replied.
'We'll see soon.' I smiled.
'My little princess.' He smiled.
'You're already protective of me.' I laughed.
'She's not getting a boyfriend until she's 30, and nobody is going near her.'
'I knew that would be the case.' I laughed. I rolled away from him, trying to get comfy. But he pulled me back towards him.
'Hey.'
'I want to cuddle you.' He said.
I rolled my eyes jokingly and let him cuddle me, as I put my head into his chest and began to doze off.
I woke up at around 8am, as the curtains could no longer keep the sun from flooding my room.  Rafe was still fast asleep on my chest, and I kissed his head, running my hands through his hair.

'Morning sleepy.' He whispered.
'You're the sleepy one.' I laughed.
The door burst open, making Rafe jump up in bed. Topper stood looking at us.
'What?' I asked.
'Oh nothing I thought you were talking to yourself.' He said, closing it again.
'You woke me up!' Rafe groaned.
'You can go back to sleep if you want?' I asked him.
'No it's okay, I should probably go and check Wheezie is okay.' He said, putting his shoes on.
'So you're just going?'
'I'll be back soon I promise.' He said, opening the window and kissing me once more.
'You can go out the door you know.' I laughed.
'More dramatic this way.' He chuckled, climbing from the window.
'Goodbye.'
'Bye babygirl.' He smiled, closing it again. I rolled my eyes and began to try and fall asleep again, as I'd not managed to get long in bed by myself. Topper came back in and opened the curtains again.
'What're you doing?' I groaned.
'Come on, we're having breakfast.' He said, picking me up. I screamed as he nearly dropped me, and grabbed his shoulders to make sure I didn't fall. He put me down in the kitchen, and that's when I realised there was someone else stood there.
'Dad?' I whispered.
'Hey, I'm sorry I've been away for so long, I've been busy.' He said, stepping towards me.
'No youve not, you've been shagging the girl you cheated on mum with!' I shouted.
'Stop let's talk about it.' He begged.
'No.'
He stepped forward and slapped me, grabbing my hair.
Topper pulled me back and covered me from his view.
'Get out.' He said sternly.
'This is my house.'
'Not anymore, get out.' He said bluntly.
He turned from the house and slammed the door.

'I've moved back here you know, just down the road! Maybe one day you can come and meet your step siblings!' He shouted, walking off.
'What?' I whispered.
'Look I'm sorry ok I didn't know it would be like that.' Topper begged. A car pulled up outside, it was Rafe's.
'Who was that man that just left yours?' He asked.
'I think that's a story for another day.' Topper laughed softly, passing me another ice pack.
'What happened?' Rafe asked, slowly sitting besides me and moving my hair from my face.
'Nothing.' I said, putting the ice down and standing up. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down, staring at me.
'That was our dad.' I whispered.
'Okay, why don't you look happy about that?' He asked anyone who would answer him.
'He left a few years ago when he cheated on our mum. She died a year after.' Topper replied, filling him in.
'Oh I'm so sorry.' Rafe whispered. My face was still red and his ring had managed to make a small cut on my cheek.
'I need to go somewhere.' I said, standing up and reaching for my shoes.
'Where could you possibly be going?' Rafe asked, protectively.
'Give me 15 minutes.' I said, running straight to JJ's house.
