Sorry for the lack of updates...

"You're the black sheep of this family, Seojung. If I know you would bring disgrace in our family, I would never think about having a kid" The said girl glued her eyes on the porcelain floor of her room. Her tears bursting out, regretting her action.

She got pregnant by his boyfriend. Now that the bastard dumped her, she had no other choice but to tell her mother. Whether her mother would be broken over the news or throwing things on her out of anger, she would accept all. It's her fault after all.

She didn't expect things to happen more than that.

"I don't want to see your face anymore. Go pack your things and leave this house immediately" Seojung's mouth opened wide in shock. She shook her head numerous times, thinking that she just hallucinating.

"Why you're still standing here? You have only today to get out from my sight" Seojung gasped and kneeled while putting her hand together in regret.

"Mom, please! How could you do this to your only daughter? I don't have any place to go! Forgive me please!" The poor daughter begged. The woman clicked her tongue before push her head the resulted in her to fell on her back. She felt the sharp pain in her stomach.

"You know I won't easily change my mind, especially on something that embarrasses me" Her mom walked out of the room, leaving the door open.

The cry slowed down. Maybe she should start accepting her fate and move on. Life is still going on. She needed to do the best for her baby. She didn't want her future kid living a hard life as she experienced.

She never had a loving family.

She stood up with her all might and determination to start a new life. She packed all her clothes and her brown-covered diary, which have been her best friend since her middle school year. She scanned her room will be missed for the last time.

As she stepped out of her room, her eyes met her father's only to receive a usual cold stare. Her father never liked Seojung since her birth. He never took good care of her. She never experienced the father's love.

He must be happy that I finally leave this house after 22 years, Seojung heart whispered.

She walked past her father without any eye contact or any last word. She made her way out through the main door with the thought that she'll never come to this hell ever again. No matter what. She'll find a job and start a new and greater life.

She opened the door of the small-sized room. She managed to find a motel as her temporary place to stay. She might not be used to this room because her old one was big and grand. But she needs to start getting used to it. Who knows she will be in this motel for the next five years?

She places her luggage beside the bed and sat on the bed while rubbing the bump that was already visible.

"I will do everything to make you live a better life, my little one"

Seojung opened her handbag and searched for her phone. She dialed her best friend's number. She felt like she had to told her about this event she's living far away from Korea.

"Hello?"

"Hyunjung-ah!"

"YAH LEE SEOJUNG YOU KNOW HOW LONG I WAITED FOR YOU TO CALL ME?"

"Oh, that-"

"WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR NUMBER? YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEN LAST MONTH?"

"I'm sorry I didn't tell-"

"I DIALED YOUR NUMBER BUT THEN A DRUNKARD ANSWER THE CALL!"

"YAH JANG HYUNJUNG!"

"Wh-what?"

Seojung inhaled a deep breath before she starts to open her problem to Hyunjung.

"Whatever I will say after this, please don't shout. I don't wanna get my ears ripped on my twenties. I still have a long way to go. Maybe" She talked in a breath

"Mkay. But I can't promise that. What if you talked about something that requires me to shout or scream?" Seojung rolled her eyes before proceeding to her next words.

"I'm...pregnant"

"WHAT THE-" Seojung threw her phone on the bed and covered her right ear. She glared sharply at the gadget as if her friend could see it. She put back the phone on her ear. It seemed like her news before shocked Hyunjung until she choked on her drink.

"You must be joking miss. I'M GONNA BE AN AUNTY?" The happy tone in the other girl's voice made Seojung chuck bitterly.

"But he dumps me...and my parents kicked me out"

"THAT BASTARD! I TOLD YOU DON'T DATE HIM! NOW LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!" This time Seojung didn't put away her phone. She swallowed all the words her friend let out in anger and concern.

"Jang Hyunjung, please stop nagging" Seojung laughed even though her cheeks were already wet. She tried to hide her sob because she didn't want Hyunjung to worry about her.

Hyunjung exhaled. "How can you still laugh in this situation? You know that I'm worried sick right now?" Hyunjung asked in the most worrying tone.

"Don't worry about me. I know how to manage this"

8 months later

Seojung was enjoying her alone time with her nine-month pregnancy bump, caressing it where her son would kick while watching the tv in her room. Lee Jaeho was the name given to her child after knowing it's going to be a boy after her checkup with the doctor when she was six-months prior.

A knock on the door could be heard. "Look's like we have a visitor, Jaeho. Maybe it's your aunty Hyunjung" she whispers as if her son will hear all of her sayings. "Come in!" said Seojung. Due to her nine-month remark, she couldn't move without having an aching back and feet for standing and walking too much.

The door opens reveals her best friend with one of the workers, Bohyun. "Hey, bestie. Am I interrupting the moment?" Hyunjung entering the room with Bohyun by her side holding what seems like a beautifully wrapped box. "Not at all really. Just having a conversation with the little one. He seems excited to come out since I've been having some sleepless night". "You should just call me last night. I was by the counter," said Bohyun, sitting on the right side of Seojung while Hyunjung on the other.

"Look, Jaeho. I know that you're excited but don't give your mother a hard time. She... have been through enough". Hyunjung voice came out almost like a whisper, in the end, knowing that her best friend is still sensitive about the topic. "Anyways... I've bought gifts for the little one. Hope you like it. Some of it is also from the boss, you're are like our family you know" Bohyun tried to change the topic, sensing that it turned gloomy somehow. "You don't need to. You guys giving me a place to stay. If not, I would be in the streets by now". "No, girl. You gonna take this for you and your baby. I'm not going to take it back".

Laughter filled the room.
