Maybe it was time, but I finally found the blonde haired boy whom I was waiting for. Because now, the true story of genshin impact starts.

I watched for a while as I watched the blonde hair walk around the small waterfall. Picking up flowers and killing fishes with his dull blade. He made sure he was getting every resources there was in that area as he jumped on the tree and tried at a feeble attempt to climb.

And soon enough, I was also getting annoyed. So I walked out, taking this as a chance to introduce myself. "What are you doing??" I called out. The two turned their heads at me. With paimon and the boy letting a slight small shriek since they were what I could assume to be suprised.

The male in the back eyes were widened. And so was paimons. But she spoke quickly "What the! You're so tall! Paimon has never seen anyone as tall as you!" She let out. Flying over as she flew around me as if to look all over me.

But her eyes were mostly on my mask because of what I can assume to be unneeded curiousity from her. Paimons companion grabbed her by her cloak and pulled her back. "Paimon that's rude to say! And stop staring!"

Paimon grumbled. "but aether! It's true! If paimon saw them in the distance can mistake them for one of those big hillichuruls!" She said.

This emergency food did not just say that about me.

Aethers mouth shut wide open suprised at paimons words as he placed his hand over her mouth as if a attempt to hush his guide. "Paimon!!" He whispered in hushed tone annoyed trying to hush her and her childish behaviour.

Paimon squirmed out as she flew out of his grip before he could grab her again to scold her. "Okay okay paimon didn't mean it!" she said as she turned to me again crossing her arms. "but paimon wants to know, who are you? And why are you wearing such a weird mask?" She asked bluntly.

Damn. She's blunter then my parents and that's a whole ass achievement by itself.

But aether stared daggers at paimon shutting herself up as I spoke. "my name's y/n, and why I wear my mask is no real business to you. . . Small flying child"

Aether let out a snort at the small comment. Paimons cheeks reddened. "S-small flying child?!" She squeeked out as she soon went on a small rampage about how she wasn't that small nor was she a child.

But I ignored her and looked at aether. Even though I knew his and paimons name already. I should act as if I don't. "And who are you respected traveller?" I ask.

Aether blinked but smiled. "Respected traveller?" He asked but chuckled and continued before I could respond my reasoning "But I'm aether, and this is my guide, paimon." He said.

"May I ask what you were doing? I saw you. . . Erm. . . Try to climb a tree but fall. . " I commented. His cheeks reddened embarrassed, he most likely didn't think that anyone had seen that beside from paimon.
