I walk down the school halls of the high-school me and Alicia went to. The truth is i had a slight crush on the girl. She's been my best friend since the second grade but somehow i started catching different type of feelings towards the girl.  The thing is,  she was straight and had a boyfriend. his name was Matt short for Mathew. I knew that she couldn't like me, and i knew it was wrong but something in me still had that tiny bit of hope that maybe just maybe she would like me back.

Today was the day i would tell her, It may or may not ruin my friendship but it's worth a try.

"Ready to go?" I spoke

"Yeah give me a second, wait for me in the car" Alicia said

"Alright then" i spoke back turning my heels and going for the exit.

My mind was racing, i didn't know how i was going to tell her nor when. My feelings we're all mixed up. I didn't know how to feel. I push the exit door and head for the parking lot. My stomach was in knots, because no matter how badly I wanted to tell her, i didn't know what her reaction would be. I seemed to arrive at the car sooner than i thought, i unlocked the door, sat down, and turned on my car. I patiently waited for Alicia to come out of the school, i was playing with my fingers when i hear the passenger door of my car open.

"Hey, sorry i took so long" Alicia spoke

"Don't worry about it" I said

"Here" I gave her the aux cord so she could play some music.

The ride was short and fun. We sang our hearts out to a few of our favorite songs, the main one being Enchanted by Taylor Swift. As soon as we got out of the car she started to act nervous, i didn't know why but i also didn't ask because i was nervous myself. I don't exactly know how I'm going to tell her about my feelings, but i'll figure it out somehow right? A low sigh soon escapes my lips as im walking through the doors of my house.

"Hey kiddos, ill be out of the house tonight don't do anything stupid." said my mom as soon as we walked through the doors

"Yup no worries" me and Alicia both said at the same time

"I left some pasta on the stove so you have something to eat, now im running late i have to go"

"Bye mom!" I said as she gave me a kiss on the forehead

"Bye Y/m/n"  Alicia said, giving my mother a cheeky smile.

Alycia and I eventually ended up watching some scary movies in the couch. I was cuddling up to her, my head resting on her chest, my hands around her waist and her playing with my hair. I often got scared seeming as i wasn't very good with jumpscares but i managed. I loved being like this with her, it was perfect. I was so in love with her.

I was nervous to tell her, i thought maybe if i kissed her it would be easier but i don't know. I ended up staring at her instead of watching the movie i was in awe, she had perfect green eyes, beautiful brown hair, and perfectly shaped lips. After a while of me staring she caught me.

"What are you staring at?" Alicia asked with a chuckle

"Uh- Nothing" Great, i stuttered. After this neither of us said anything, we were just staring at each other, it wasn't uncomfortable it was the complete opposite but soon enough i got the bravery to speak up.

"I need to tell you something" I quickly spoke.

"What is it?" Alicia said in a soft and low voice, her eyes were flicking back and forth between mine. She was completely mesmerizing.

"I- I like you. No, im in love with you. You don't have to say anything but i just needed to get it of my system. I felt the need to tell you how i feel because it's eating me on the inside. I love every part of you, from the way you make corny jokes, to the way you care about people. I love how when you concentrate, you make a face sticking out your tongue. I love the how you manage difficult situations. I love everything about you. I didn't want to say anything at first because i was scared, but i guess i have to take the chance right?"

As i finished that last sentence i'd realized what i said. Shit.

"I-Im sorry i know this is a lot to take i-" I was cut off by a pair of lips crashing into mine. It took me a moment to process, but i soon kissed her back. Our lips moved in sync. It was as if they were made for each other. It feels like her lips are the last piece to my puzzle. She tastes like cherry and strawberry considering thats the chapstick that she uses. I put my hands around her neck and e hands slipped around my waist, it was perfect, But we soon pulled apart for air.

"I love you too."  and with those words, i finally felt as if i was finally home.

HELLOOO PEOPLEEE!! Im back, im sorry I haven't posted in a few but thankfully im on christmas break and i have a lot more time to write now. This chapter is short but i promise there'll be longer chapters. Anyways goodnight, this was kinda rushed so excuse my mistakes it hasn't been proofread. Thank you for readingg<333
