Today's transfiguration class was boring for all the Marauders. If you don't count the annoying comments that they passed their professor, which earned all of them a detention excluding Remus.

For Kelsie, almost every practical class was easy. Since she had already lived 37 years of her life and was great at wandless magic and non verbal spells too.

Lily was almost shocked when Kelsie earned their house 30 points in their Transfiguration class. Kelsie's weak subject was Transfiguration during her school year and when she suddenly mastered almost every spell they practiced, all her friends were shocked to find her do all these as easily as she sleeps. Even Sirius was impressed despite his hate towards the Lestrange girl.

Sirius also noticed the sudden increase in her confidence. The way she was looking more beautiful than before even if nothing changed, the way her mood changes every 10 minutes but didn't commented on it and tried to avoid her as much as possible.

It didn't went unnoticed by Kelsie. It broke her heart knowing that the one whom she loved in her past life hated her during this time and didn't wanted to do anything with her but she decided to ignore her feelings for now.

Right now all the Marauders including Kelsie were sitting by the Black lake

"Kel, are you sure that you want to go home this Christmas break?" Remus asked looking away from the book he was reading.

"It's not like I have an option Moony. I have to." She sighed deeply.

"But you always come back with a lot of bruises and scars. We don't want to see you like that, you know? We just care about your wellbeing Snow!" James said from her lap while she was playing with his hair.

"You should be a rebel like me too Lestrange." Sirius exclaimed from his spot.

"It's not that easy for me to rebel Black." She said as she continued looking at nowhere "No-nose is collecting more and more followers, you know? It won't be long before Rodulphus would force me to take the dark mark."

"You are not going to join them are you Kelsie?" Peter asked from beside Remus.

"Of course not." She exclaimed "I may or may not be thinking about running away." She shrugged.

"WHAT!" They all yelled in unison.

"You really are going to leave that place?" Sirius asked sitting up, one could easily see the excitement in his eyes.

"I am thinking, maybe during our 6th year Christmas break or in the beginning of 7th year." She said and leaned her head at James shoulder who sat up so he could yell comfortably.

"Why don't you run away this break? And where will you go after running away?" Remus asked concerned.

"Not this break. I want to actually know what is going on in the dark side. I will stay there until they try to talk me into their side, then I will run away. And about living, I don't know. Maybe I will stay at the Leaky Cauldron till I can." She said while fidgeting with her robes.

"You know you can come and live with us whenever you want Kel. Mom and Dad literally think of you as their own daughter." James said ruffling her hair.

"I know Jamsie. So maybe I will be going to your house." She said looking towards him "That is if I run away. I want this to be my last option." She added when she saw the excitement on his face.
