Chapter 13- Creep

Jellal and you yell in unison, "YOU'RE PART OF FAIRY TAIL?"

Natsu's laughter echoes through the air as Laxus rolls his eyes at him, "calm down Natsu". He orders the pink haired dragonslayer, "Jellal, do you have anything to say to (y/n)".

With a hostile glare, the latter says no, you big ass liar! You shout in your head. He wants to know why Zeref was so afraid of me!

"What about you (y/n)?" Laxus turns his gaze to you and regrets asking the question once he sees the maniac smile you have on your face.

"Well, I have a question for my dear guildmate Jellal," you bring your hands together, open your eyes wide and pout, "do you forgive me for all the crimes I've committed?"

Natsu looks as if he'd explode out of laughter, Laxus sighs and rubs his forehead as Jellal's jaw drops.

"Stop messing around," Laxus grabs the back of your shirt and hoists you up in the air.

"LAXUS!" you fling your arms and legs hopelessly in the air. Your embarrassment peaks when you see a mocking smirk on Jellal's face. In a sudden quick motion, Laxus throws you over his shoulder and pats your back.

"There, there. You may sleep now," you can hear him smile as he speaks.

"Don't talk to me as if I'm a baby and don't throw me over your shoulder like a sack of potatoes! As your elder, I order you to put me down".

"Sorry but I only take orders from the old geezer," you huff and cross your arms like a frustrated child. He continues, "And don't call yourself a sack of potatoes. You're much lighter".

"And hotter I must say," the hair on the back of your neck stand as you hear a slithered voice speak. "Guardian (Y/n), it's an honor to make your acquaintance. Although, I would prefer to see your face rather than your butt".

Laxus lowers you to the ground but doesn't give you a chance to see the addresser. Instead he hugs your face to his chest. Jellal and Natsu jump in front of Laxus and take defensive stances.

"No need to be so scared! I'm not here to hurt your goddess," you tense at the fact that this strange person knows you were a goddess once. Opening a telepathic link with Laxus you speak,

- Laxus we need to run asap!

- (Y/n)? how the hell are you in my head?

- I can use multiple types of magic dumbass. I'm a bottomless reservoir of mana.

- And that creep knows that?

- Maybe. That's why we need-

- Say no more.

Dark clouds begin to form over your heads, and lightning zaps you. As if reading your mind, Jellal swings his arm around Natsu's abdomen and flashes away from the stranger using meteor magic.

"Laxus, you can do that?!" you scream as you travel through conductors.

"Calm down, I need to focus so the lightning doesn't hurt you," he says, gritting his teeth. You've been travelling for quite the distance and your carrier is starting to feel tired.

"Jellal is using meteor magic right?" You ask trying to pin down any trace of Natsu as well.

"Yeah, he grabbed Natsu and fled". Laxus answers quickly, his breath becoming shorter and shallower. Damn it... why do I feel so drained?

"It's because of that creep. He sucked part of everyone's magic power. Let me take over," you wrap your hands around Laxus' neck and pull yourself upward; your lips are near his ears as you chant these words: "may the wind take you to the place you call home".

"What are you doing?" he questions surprised as to why a gust of wind is enveloping him.

"Go tell Makarov about this. I'll be right behind you with Jellal and Natsu". Not awaiting his reply, you flick your wrist sending him flying through the sunset.

"Bravo," you hear the same voice again along with excited applause.

You spin on your heels, "sorry I would like to get to know you more. But I'm not into CREEPS!" Icicles form around you as the air turns crisp. Pointing your finger at the stranger figure ahead, the icicles launch slicing the air with a whush sound.

That should keep 'em busy. Now where are you two knuckleheads?

~at the fairy tail guildhall~

"Old geezer!" Laxus drops from the sky right in front of his grandpa. Makarov screams and a white spirit leaves his body.

"Damn it boy! Don't scare me like that," he throws his wooden cup in Laxus' panicked face, "calm down. I already know what you'll say".

"You do?" Laxus looks at him, slightly taken aback.

"You like (Y/n)," the old man smiles in triumph. Laxus expression goes from taken aback, to frowning to neutral to gritting his teeth to blushing.

"No... it's not that. She's in-

"MASTERRRR (Y/N)'S IN TROUBLE" Natsu comes flying down, hugging onto Jellal for dear life as they both scream and crash in the backyard.

"What?" the master manages to ask before Erza, Gray, Wendy, Lucy and Carla bolt outside upon hearing a commotion.

"Wait, where are Happy and Lily?" Natsu looks at his friends searching for the two missing exceeds. "They should be back by now".

A realization hits Natsu hard in his chest causing him to feel rage. "That creep smelled familiar,"

"You don't mean?" Laxus looks at his guildmate's face and stretches an arm out.

"THAT BASTARD!" just as Natsu was about to take off, rampaging to wherever you and that creep were, Laxus grips on his scarf and Erza knocks him out.

Carla sighs at his antiques and returns inside, so my clairvoyance held something similar to the events occurring but... neither Laxus nor Jellal made it out alive. And Natsu was fighting (Y/n) in her goddess form. Maybe I interpreted it wrong. Probably it's not happening today. Ugh! And that blue cat had to get involved in Natsu's craziness again... although, that is how it's always been between these two.

"Don't worry Carla, I'm sure they'll be back," the white exceed relaxes upon hearing Wendy's cheerful, reassuring voice.
