Alice and Rain both fall through the trees and land on a grassy hill.
As the two humans try to get familiar with their surroundings, only one has been here before.
"What just happened? Where is Mirana? Or hatter? Or... the Jabberwockey" Alice looks around to only see Rain.
"I'm sorry for bringing you with me this time, I only wanted to take myself but how are you here as well but I don't recognise the area" they look out and beyond the grassy field to see a sort of small castle with a few partygoers dancing.
"This is Hamish's land, this is where I first fell into underland" Alice stands up and holds out a hand to Rain.
"How long have you been in underland?"
"At least a few weeks after I slayed the Jabberwockey"
Rain blinks in surprise.
'This isn't how the story is supposed to go" they think out loud, catching the blinds attention.
"What do you mean?"
"It's nothing, let's just find out how to get back to underland and help defeat the Jabberwockey again" Rain looks out to the party that is happening just down the field.
Meanwhile Alice is looking at the old rabbit hole, now closed up.
"The hole should be just here" she stands up and brushes herself off.
"Maybe there is a new hole"
"Alice! There you are! I got worried after you ran away from Hamish's proposal... who is that kid?" Margaret, Alice's sister, steps up and runs over to the two in the same dress that she wore from the proposal.
"What are you two wearing?" She asks breaking the two out of their surprise.
"I found Alice sitting by this tree stump and saw that she was upset so I sat with her and she got her dress all dirty so I helped her out, yep" Rain lies through their teeth and through some miracle, Margaret believes them.
"Well, Hamish is looking for you and mother is furious, some have already started talking about you and not the good talk"
"When is it ever "good talk about me"" Alice huffs.
"Come on, we have to go back" Margaret grabs Alice's hand but stops suddenly.
"Since when was your hand so rough? And how did you get those claw marks on your arm?" She starts to point out all of the little injuries that Alice has gotten in her time in underland.
"What aren't you telling me?" She moves backwards after dropping Alice's hand.
"You won't believe me if I told you"
At this point Rain has been looking at the surrounding areas for a new portal to underland.
"Gimme something here!" They puff out in frustration causing them to kick a log that roles down the hill showing a patch of brown dirt.
With a groan they head back up the hill to the two sisters to see them sitting next to each other, talking it out.
Deciding that it is probably better to leave the two to talk out their feelings like proper sisters, Rain walks back into the forest to look for another rabbit hole.
With little luck they stumble apon a hole in the ground that is next to a decaying tree stump in the middle of the clearing.
They get on their knees and peer over the edge of the hole, holding onto the tree stump for support.
Seeing that it is endless, they decide that this hole is their best bet for an entrance back to underland.
"Back to the two sisters" they trudge back up the hill and see the two parting from a hug.
"Not to interrupt, but I found another rabbit hole and I think we should go" They point behind them and through the trees while looking at the two sisters.
"Right, of course" Alice walks over to Rain but before the two can leave, Margaret stops her sister.
"Good luck and be safe" Alice nods and says goodbye to her sister as Rain pulls her away by the hand and towards the new rabbit hole.
"Is this it?" Alice looks down at the seemingly endless hole next to the tree stump.
"It's our best bet to get back to the others" Rain edges forward until they're at the edge of the hole and Alice soon joins them.
"Ready?"
"Ready" Alice grabs Rains hand as the two jump down the hole, into darkness.
