When I woke up in the morning, the first thing I heard was Quackity laughing his head off downstairs. I quickly got ready and threw on one of the many hoodies I had stolen from Ranboo, purely because it was so big on my small frame.
"QUACKITYYYYYYYYY!" I yelled, running down the stairs, this time deciding not to skip the bottom step.
"ECHOOOOO!" Quackity yelled back, with the same enthusiasm. "Is it true that you got accepted into the Olympics?" he asked, looking excited.
"Yep!" I said proudly.
"Hey- Is that one of my sweaters?!" Ranboo asked, walking into the kitchen.
"Pfft, mine now," I said, sticking my tongue out at him, "What were you laughing about?" I asked, turning my attention back to Quackity.
"Oh, we just told him about how you announced getting into the team last night. I see you decided not to repeat that today," Tubbo said drily.
"Oh- Oh yeah... Anyways, moving on, you said that you wanted to travel around Australia a bit after the Olympics?" I said, trying to change the topic.
"Actually, Tommy said that, but I totally would suggest that if it hadn't been already," Ranboo said, opening a bag of very familiar cookies.
"Oh uhm, Ranboo, you don't want to touch those..." Dream trailed off as Ranboo popped a cookie into his mouth. "And this is when you should start running," Dream glanced at me.
"Oh I know these are Echo's, this is just payback for stealing my sweater," he said, grabbing another one of my limited cookies and took out a big chunk of it.
"You little b*tch..." I whispered, slowly stalking towards him.
"Hey, uh, we can talk about this Echo," Ranboo said, putting his hands up slightly and walking backwards.
"You want to talk about it? Sure! Here's what I have to say... I WILL F*CKING END YOU!" I yelled, chasing after him.
"NO! PLEASE NO! I STILL NEED TO SEE AUSTRALIA!" he yelled back to me, desperately trying to get as far away from me as he could.
"WELL THEN GO SEE IT IN HEAVEN!" I yelled, jumping onto his back, making both of us fall over in the hallway.
"I think I spoke too soon," Tubbo muttered, walking into the hallway to meet us.
"HE ATE MY FREAKING COOKIE!" I cried out.
"Well you stole my hoodie," Ranboo said calmly, pulling himself up into a sitting position, I stayed lying on my back on the floor.
"Do you want to test which one has more sentimental value?" I growled, glaring at him.
"Okay, so I'm going to die soon, a closed casket would be nice guys," he said jokingly. "Here- how about I'll get some more for you?" Ranboo offered, scrambling away from me as if I had a virus.
I sat straight up, "Really? If so, then I'd definitely forgive you," I said, pulling myself onto my feet.
He sighed, "Well, off I go then. I'll be back in 20 minutes. Don't start talking about the bookings until I'm back," Ranboo said, standing up and walking into the garage.
"What does he mean by bookings?" Quackity asked once we heard the car pull out of the garage.
"Echo's taking me, Tommy, and Ranboo out to Australia with her when she goes for the Olympics," Tubbo said.
"Ohh, so are you going to stay back to travel around a bit?" he asked.
"Yeah, Echo's gonna take us all around Australia," Tommy said, joining us from his office that was at the end of the hallway.
"Oh sick, can I come?" Quackity asked, turning to me.
"I can arrange a flight to Brisbane once the Olympics are over," Dream cut in again.
"Ey, thanks bro!"
Dream just nodded in response. He was such a different person now, so responsible. I remember when we were younger, he would always be the one being told off for messing his clothes up or losing a hat. You wouldn't have been able to tell that they were the same person if you put the two personalities together.
"What were you doing this entire morning? It's already 10 am," I asked Tommy.
"Says the person who only woke up a couple of minutes ago..." he mumbled.
"Well, timezones okay? Now answer my question."
"Oh, I was just streaming, that's all."
"Oh alright, there are leftover pancakes from yesterday right?" I asked, walking towards the fridge.
"Yeah, I think? If no one else took them this morning," he said, following me into the kitchen.
"Ooo- Maccas!" I said, clapping my hands before quickly taking it out of the cold landscape and set it in the microwave for a minute.
"Maccas-?" Tommy asked.
"McDonald's," I said, rolling my eyes.
After I had finished my breakfast, Ranboo still hadn't come back.
What on earth is taking him so long? I thought.
As if right on cue, I heard the garage door open, and a minute after, Ranboo walked into the house with a bag of cookies in his hand.
"Sorry I took so long, the local store didn't have any left and I knew you would kill me if I came back with nothing," he rambled.
"It's fine, thanks! Now, let's get started on the bookings," I said, taking the cookies from him and skipping into my office.
