"ALENNNNNNA BANANA COME HERE!" My mother yelled. I groaned and rolled outta bed. I yelled "On my way. " I ran downstairs and said "Yea mother?"
" Hey hunny I'm going on a business trip it was last minute and we could use the extra money." She said. I looked at her and said "Mom we have more than enough money we just moved here! We haven't even lived in this house for a week and you're leaving already."
"Darling we need th-"
"No mom we don't we have more than enough for the two of us." I reply cutting her off.
" Alena we will talk about this when I get back home."
"Like always."
I whisper under my breath. She smiled kissed my check and left. Last words being I love you I'll be back in a month. She left about $1000 for me for a month. Oh joy. I decided to go back up stairs and get dressed. I put on my green 'Hug me I'm Irish' shirt a pair of skinny jeans and my black vans. I brushed my waist length brown hair and left it as is. I grab my ombré penny board and walk outta my house. I decide to check out my neighbor hood. I past a library, movie theater and a stop and shop. I went down town and sat at an ice cream shop. The breeze felt good pushing my hair back and forth. I smiled and ordered a cookie dough ice cream. I walked back outside and sat at a table. I don't think it'll be bad living in California after all.
