*The next morning*
I woke up to the sound of chirping birds and arms wrapped tightly around my waist. I glanced up to see green eyes staring down at me. "Good morning gorgeous." He lazily smiled. "Why good morning handsome." I replied as I pinched his cheeks. I stretched and said "So what do ya want for breakfast?" I could've swore I heard him whisper 'you' but I just shook it off. "Well I could go for pancakes at the moment and bacon. What do you have in your fridge?" I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge "Everything you just said." I laughed.
"Well let's get cookin'."
"Yes sir." I say with my hand on my head as if I was in army position. He started to laugh, he has one of those contagious laughs you know the ones whenever you hear it you have to laugh with them? Well I was laughing with him. I swear he's so adorable. we start cooking he's making bacon and I'm making the pancakes. I couldn't get the pancake batter open so I was pulling it with all the force I had. Then all of a sudden all of the batter goes flying upon Brennen. I opened my mouth and shock, "Brennen I'm so sorry it was an accident I swear!" He giggled and opens the fridge and got two eggs out. me being dumb I didn't get what he was doing until I had egg yolk in my hair, it started dripping down my face as I screamed "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!"
"OH YES I DID!" He screamed back sassily. I go into the fridge and get ketchup and pour it on his hair. I grinned and ran away he started screaming about how I messed up his hair. I laughed and ran into the bathroom and locked the door I turned on the shower and just got in with my clothes on. I dried myself off once I got most of the food off of me. I walked out and saw Brennen cleaning up our mess. He looked at me and said "As fun as that was don't mess with the hair!"
I looked at him and said "Your not my dad you little stupid ass noodle head." I recite from one of his vines. He laughs and says "Whatever.". I help him finish cleaning up the mess. As he showers I finish cooking breakfast. What a fun start to such a beautiful day.
