"When we grow up we soon realize that we aren't going to be what we wanted to be as kids. When our parents asked us what we wanted to be I said a fairy. Why? They'd ask, my answer would be because they're magical. They'd ask me again as a teenager. what do you want to be? They'd question. My answer would always be a lawyer. As an adult I wish someone would ask me what I want to be. It seems as if once we get older we don't know what we want to do, or where life will lead us. It's a book and we are the author. We write a new chapter every day. We face new challenges and discover new things every single day. Bit we keep moving on, some of us leaving to go back to heaven. Now if someone where to ask me what I want to be I'd say with out a shadow of a doubt someone important. I want to be remembered for something totally out of this world amazing." I said to Brennen we were currently sitting at a booth in The Pancake House. He nodded taking my words in, "That's deep." he finally spoke. I grinned and nodded. "Want to know what I want to be?" I looked up at him and nodded. "Your husband." He said getting down on one knee, pulling out a ring. "Will you marry me Alena?" I started crying "Yes Brennen!! Yes I will marry you." He stood up and hugged me. I took a look at the ring. It was a diamond shaped heart. I smiled and grabbed his face and kissed him. We heard clapping and whistling and 'congrats ' here and there.
And then I woke up. I woke up from my dream. Pulling the covers up to my chin I looked at my hand and didn't see a ring. I sighed.
