Chapter 7

Time Skip

Neeko's POV

I'm all fixed up an ready to go. So far I've met everyone except Gray (the pervert). "Gray." I cooed. "Huh...oh hi Neeko." he replied. "Hey let's hang out for today." I smiled. " Woah! I just met you!" he said. "Why all of a sudden?" "Well I see you don't want to hang out with me." I say looking disappointed. "Fine. I'll hang out with you." He agreed. "Yay!" I hugged him. "Okay Okay." Gray pushed her away. "I'm sorry." I replied looking kind of sad. "H-Hey I know what can cheer you up." he said. "Come with me." Gray took Neeko to an ice cream shop that was not too far from where they were at. "Just around this corner you'll find the best place in Magnolia to get ice cream." "But....I.....oh my god." I said in awe. The ice cream place was huge. Gray opened the door for Neeko. "Here you go." he said like a gentleman. Is he bipolar or what. First he's pushing me away now he's holding the door for me. "Oh my god! So many flavors!" I squealed. "How many hours do I have to spend with her." Gray thought to himself annoyed. "I only want strawberry with sprinkles." I told him. I feel bad because I feel like I know what he's thinking. I feel like I'm about to cry. "Okay." he replied. "Um excuse me sir, I would like an Icy Breeze with mini ice cubes and the miss would like a strawberry ice cream with sprinkles." "Okay!" the man smiled. "Gray you didn't have to hangout with me. I know you didn't want to." I say turning to walk away. "H-hey I didn't say that." he replied. "You wanted to." i say walking away. "Thanks for the ice cream." I call over my shoulder.

Gray's POV

How in Fiore did Neeko read my mind. Anyways I think she's sad now. This is gonna be harder than I thought. "What's gonna be harder than you thought?" I heard Neeko ask. "Uh nothing." I waved my hands in front of my face. "Please tell me." she was now in front of me. "Nothing! Now get out of my face!" I backed off. She flinched. "I-I'm sorry." she ran off. "Neeko!" I yelled. "Hey!" I was now all alone.

Neeko's POV

I ran all the way to Aqua's house. I knocked on the door. "Aqua! Aqua Open up!" I cried. "Okay okay!" she said. "What's wrong?" "I don't wanna talk about it." I cried running to my room. "H-hey! Neeko!" Aqua went running after her. She reached the door to Neeko's room. "Neeko! Are you in there!?"Aqua asked. "Go away! I'm never coming out!" I cried.
