Chapter 18

Gray's POV

I went to the nearest jewelry store. I found the most prettiest necklace. It was her birth gemstone. I asked them to carve the name NEEKO on it. I went back to the guild holding the gift in my pocket. "Hey Neeko." I called. "Hmm?" she asked perking her ears up a bit. "Follow me." I motioned my hand. I took her to a hill. You could see the beautiful sun setting between the clouds. I set up a blanket and we watched the sunset. "Neeko." I began. "Yes" she answered. I got the box out of my pocket. "Um... I got you something." I opened the box lid. "It's a necklace with your birthstone and name in carved in the gem stone." I went up behind her and put the necklace around her neck. "I love you." I kissed her on the lips.

Neeko's POV

I covered my mouth and let the tears fall. "Thank you." I cried hugging Gray. "I love you too." I added. Gray smiled. We laid beside each other and watched the stars go by. "I'm tired." I yawned. "Me too." Gray fell asleep cuddling her.

Time Skip

*yawn* I say stretching. "G-good morning Neeko." Gray wiped his eyes. "Morning." I smile pecking Gray on the lips. "There's some pancakes in the basket." Gray pointed to the basket. "Nah. I'm not hungry." I call from the top of a tree. "How did you get there?" Gray asked. "Skills." I call back, laughing a little. "Hmph." Gray mumbled. He started climbing the tree. "Stop climbing. I'll come down." I say getting worried. "Fine." Gray climbed down. I jumped down. "Whee!" I yelled as I was going down. "Ow." Gray was on the ground, flatten by Neeko. "Oops." I laughed. "T-That hurt." Gray rubbed his head. Then he started laughing. I got off Gray so he can get up.

(Neeko and Gray is at his house)
Neeko's POV
I heard a rumble come from the living room. I moved Gray's arm over to get off from the bed. I looked around the living room until I blacked out.

Gray's POV

I woke up, noticing that Neeko wasn't beside me. I rose up from the bed, and headed towards the living room. I couldn't believe what I saw!

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been going through testing and family stuff.
But anyways I ended this chappie with another cliff hanger.
I wonder what Gray saw. Or what made Neeko black out.
