Chapter 17

Neeko's POV

"Uh S-Spring." Natsu replied. "GAH! It's Mating season!" I ran out of the guild screaming my lungs out. "W-what?!" Natsu said. "Oh my god! What am I going to do!" I yelled laying on the ground with my face in the dirt having a tantrum. Natsu went over to Lucy. "Hey Luce! Guess what time of year it is!" "I don't know Natsu." Lucy replied. "It's Mating Season! And you're my mate." Natsu smiled. "Oh it's that time of year again." Lucy looked away. Natsu ran on top of a table. "Hey everyone! It's Mating season!" Natsu yelled. Lucy face palmed herself. "Oh my god!" I yelled still having a tantrum. I am horrible when it comes to mating. I end up beating the crap out of everybody who even looks at my mate weird. "GAH!" I screamed punching a tree. I don't want to hurt anybody. "I'm sure you won't hurt anybody this time." a familiar voice said. "Eh!" I say turning around. "Hey!" Gray smirked. "H-Hi." I waved a little bit. "So I've heard from Natsu that its Mating season for all dragon slayers." Gray replied. "Grr yeah." I reply. "Why are you angry?" Gray asked. "I don't want to talk about it." I say folding my arms. "Now let's go in the guild." I add walking to the guild. "Hey - NOPE!" I yell punching the table. "Looks like Neeko already started." Mira said. I growl and stomp off in a corner. "Whoa! What happened here." Aqua looked around. "Wait let me guess. Neeko." "Yep!" Lucy replied. "She's going through Mating season." "Wait that starts today!" Aqua yelled. Lucy nodded. I stood next to Gray. "If anyone touches him, I won't hesitate to rip you in half!" I hiss glaring at everyone. "Nobody will mess with him!" Aqua yelled. Aqua laid her head on the table. "Man I don't have a mate." "Be glad because at least you won't go crazy." Lucy tried to cheer Aqua up. "Its okay Aqua." I say hugging her. Grr mood swings. "Um Neeko, why are you crying?" Aqua asked. "I don't know." I cried. "Gray! Neeko's crying!" Aqua yelled. "I'm fine." I stopped crying. I curled up on the floor and just stayed there. Gray went beside Neeko and hugged her. "Mine." I whispered to myself pulling Gray closer to me. "N-Neeko, what the hell is wrong with you." Gray backed away. I pouted. I curled up and dry cried. "Don't cry again." Gray came over to Neeko and comforted her. "Stop crying. I won't go anywhere." I started laughing. "*laugh* I *laugh* hate *laugh* mating *laugh*season." I laughed. "Why are you laughing?" Gray asked. "I couldn't help it." I say going back to normal. "I'll be back in a little while okay. Don't go on a rampage while I'm gone." Gray smirked then walked out of the guild.
