Chapter 11

Time Skip

Aqua's POV

"Mhm swo gwood." Neeko said stuffing her face with food. "Yum! Twis is aweswoom!" I was filling my face with delicious foods. Neeko started laughing. "Ywure fwac wooks swo weird." she laughed. "Hwey!" I yelled. "I'm full." Neeko said patting her stomach. "Yeah." I replied. Suddenly we heard a laugh. "He he he he!" Gray laughed. Neeko looked shocked then smiled really big. "What, I've laughed before." he said with a small chuckle. "Well I never seen you laugh." Neeko whispered to herself. "Well now you did." Gray smiled. It was a great day.

Neeko's POV

"You wasn't supposed to hear that." I whispered even lower. I will cherish his laugh forever. I smiled like an idiot. "Why are you smiling?" Gray asked suspicious. "Huh...oh um...no reason." I said really fast. I still kept that goofy grin on my face. Gray came over and kissed Neeko on the cheek. "You look cute like that." he smiled. My face flushed. "Hee Hee th-thanks." I coughed(faked) so I could cover my face. "uh....did I miss something." Aqua said looking awkward. "N-no." I stuttered waving my hands. "o-okay then." Aqua looked the other way. "hmph! I wish I had someone to love." Aqua thought to herself. "You will." I winked at Aqua. "How did you hear me!" Aqua looked embarrassed. "um...I...uh um." I panicked. "What?" Aqua looked confused. "I...um...have to go to the bathroom...um...yeah the bathroom." I rushed off to the bathroom. But i ran into someone. "Kuro?!" I squealed really loud. He hugged me. "Neeko! I've missed you." "Ugh I wonder if Neeko's okay?" Aqua wondered. I grabbed his hand. "Come on." "Ok Neeko." he smiled.

Gray's POV

I wonder what's taking Neeko so long to come back. Maybe she's still in the bathroom.

Neeko's POV

"Kuro no I can't and I won't kiss you please." I begged. "I have Gray. Ok I admit I liked yo-" Before I could finish he smacked his lips on mine. I'm sorry Gray. I couldn't push him away he was too strong. When he stopped I slunk down to the floor and cried while hugging my knees. "Neeko, are you okay?" Gray asked. I didn't answer. I can't face him now. "Neeko! What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Gray yelled. I started shaking. "He kissed me." I whispered. "Who kissed you?" Gray asked. "K-Kuro." "Who's that?" Gray asked again. "N-no one." "Are you sure? Because I know when you're lying." Gray said. "I'm positive." I stood up and looked him straight in the eye. "Who is he Neeko. Tell me the truth." Gray demanded. "I promise he's no one....now." I say looking straight at him. "Hey Neeko, I'm ba-" Kuro got cut off. "Oh it seems your busy." Kuro turned away. "I wouldn't want to talk to you even if I wasn't busy!" I spat. "Hey! Watch the mood swings!" yelled Kuro. "Shut up! It's your fault!" I cried. "How is it my fault!" yelled Kuro. "You know what you did!" I yelled back with tears in my eyes. "So I kissed you. Who cares. I loved you ever since we were kids." Kuro proclaimed. "But I-I'm with Gray now." I turned my head. "What?!" Kuro said a bit disappointed. "I-I'm sorry." Kuro walked away with tears in his eyes. "But we've known each other since that day you moved into town. I've always loved you ever since that day. An now you've replaced me with a guy name Gray. How could you Neeko." Kuro ran off with tears falling from his eyes. I fell to my knees crying. "uh Neeko, are you okay?" Gray asked. "I...um...don't know." I cried hugging him. "Y-you k-know I l-love y-you right?" I asked. "Yeah! Of course!" Gray answered. "What happened?" "H-he said he loves me." I answered. "Y-yeah I l-love you." Gray looked away. Why did he look away. I feel hurt. I looked up crying a bit more. Does he not love me anymore? Has he ever loved me? "E-Eh! D-don't c-cry." Gray looked back having sweatdrops coming down. I just stood there. H-he doesn't love me. I stepped back some more not knowing what to do. "I said I do love you. You misunderstood what I said." Gray came towards her in a tight embrace.

Gray's POV

"Why did you look away when you said it?" Neeko asked. "Cause I w-was blushing." I admitted. "Aww *nosebleed* that just makes you even hotter." Neeko squealed pecking Gray on the lips. I smirked then kept kissing her. I'm just wondering who that boy was. Maybe she knows him. I've got to figure this out quick. "u-um Neeko." I started. "Who was that boy?" "That was Kuro." she answered rather coldly. "Who's Churro?" I asked. "No Kuro. He was an old friend." she replied. "Oh I see. So you two were really close friends then." I finally understood. "Not anymore." she mumbled. "Why?" I asked. "Is it because you and I are dating." I whispered. "Y-yeah." she whispered back smiling. "And I wouldn't want it any other way." she added. I blushed as Neeko said those words. "Me neither." I agreed. She smiled and pecked me on the lips.

Aqua's POV

I was running around wondering where Neeko was at. Suddenly I bumped into a boy. "uh s-sorry. I didn't see you there." I apologized. When I apologized, I saw that the boy had tears within his eyes. "H-hey are you okay?" I asked. "Y-yeah. I'm just going through a hard time right now." the boy replied. "I see. Well I'm Aqua. What's your name?" I asked. "I'm.....," he started. "Kuro." he finished. "Well Kuro I'm sorry I bumped into you but right now I have to find my friend Neeko." I ran to continue my search.

Kuro's POV

Man I gotta hide my face. I don't want anyone to see me crying.
