Chapter 26

I turned off the lights and then laid on the other side, but so far from him. I was so tired and as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out of this world. The last thing I felt was the arms encircling on my waist.

"My small kitten." And the last thing I heard.

The illuminating rays of sun entered the room, making me stir in my sleep. I felt a hot breath on the nape of my neck.

I wanted to pee, so I tried to get up, but something was restraining my movement. I blinked slowly to get rid of the blurriness.  Rubbed my eyes lazily, while scanning my surroundings. My eyes fell on the muscular arms wrapped around me. I turned my head towards him, and Ryan's head was buried in my neck. My eyes widened. I looked at his face and he seemed so calm and cute in his sleep.

I never forget what he did. How he blackmailed me.

So gently I grabbed his hands and slowly removed it from my body. I moved out of the bed, cautious to not wake him up, and walked into the restroom. I did my business and was going to shower, but remembered that I haven't brought clothes here. So I left the restroom and took out a beautiful sundress from the cupboard.

I did not want to wake him up, so I walked into my old room.

I decided to shower here, not wanting to go back there.

I closed the door and bolted it as I removed my clothes and went straight under the shower. Warm water cascading down my body.

Now what will happen? When we will go back?

I washed my hair and body, turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and exited from the bathroom.

My breath hitched in my throat. My eyes widened. Ryan was standing in front of me. Relief washed over his face and suddenly he wrapped his powerful arms around my waist and flushed my body to his. The rhythm of my heartbeat was suddenly going fast as he buried his face in my neck, inhaling my scent. Heat crept to my cheeks.

His intoxicating smell...

I shook my head.

What are you thinking, Rose? I scolded myself.

"I thought you ran away when I woke up and didn't see you next to me." He said, still hugging me tightly. I was pushing him, but no avail. He was far stronger than me.

I know I cannot escape from here. I am not that stupid.

After a few minutes, he let me go and I took a step back. "Though you could not run away from here, but I was scared for you." His voice was husky. His eyes roamed down to up my body and inhaled a deep breath.  Eyes full of lust.

And then I remembered, I was only in a towel.

Oh, my God.

I am practically naked.
