~Chapter 3~

~Shadow~

When Midnight got me to the ER, they got me into a room right away. They examined the injury's, and they said they would need to relocate my shoulder, Midnight seemed really uneasy about this.

~Midnight~

Watching as my crush had been beaten up so bad broke my heart, I hate to see him so beat up. I wish it didn't go the way it did. Although I like him this much, I doubt he likes me back. Almost makes me wish I knew what was going on in his head. "Where will he be staying?" I mumbled to myself. Well, they are about to relocate his shoulder.

~Shadow~

I yelped extremely loud from the relocation, it was so painful, I looked at Midnights beautiful blue eyes. That calmed me down a lot. The doctors said I can go home but I need to rest. "Where are you ready to go?" midnight asked. "Yes" I responded, I was still whimpering from the pain. He helped me get into my car, he then drove me to his house, he said I can stay there with him, his mom was ok with it too.

~Midnight~

I am so excited to have him staying with me! I just hope that he sleeps well, he can have my bed, I will sleep on my couch in my room. "Hey Shadow." I said, "What" he barked back. "Why are you being so rude?" I questioned. He then started to break down in tears, as I was pulling into the driveway to my house, I helped him to get out of the car and into my house. my mom came home when I did. After not seeing me at school  to pick me up she was worried, she questioned where I got the car. I had told her what happened and she was proud to see I was helping people.

~Shadow~

Midnight's mom came home and questioned him, but when she was done she came over to me and she was treating me as if I was her kid. Now I see where Midnight gets it from. Midnight took me to his room, he told me that his bed was there for me to use. "why?" I interrogated. "he just ignored what I said and went to get me some ice cream. When he came back he asked me if I wanted anything for dinner, I said no, then he went and ate dinner himself.

When he came back he said we should go to bed, I think he saw my discomfort, He asked me what was wrong. I knew I wanted him but I couldn't express that to him. "Shadow, I need to talk to you." he asked. My ears perked up and I looked at him confused. "what is it?" I asked curiously. "Shadow, I like you, like I really like you, and if you want to reject me that's ok, I would understand" he said. I got up as fast as I could, it hurt so bad, but I went to hug him. "I had feeling for you too" I cheered. "So, is this you saying..." he asked, I cut him off, "Yes!"

~Midnight~

Holy fuck, he actually likes me, I can't believe this! "Shadow, you should probably lay back down, you don't need to make anything worse." I demanded.  "Will you cuddle me?" Shadow asked. "I don't think my mom will like that." I said, my ears dropped back to my head, I felt bad. I decided to just cuddle with him. We both drifted off into the deep void of sleep.

When we woke up, I kissed him, and went to the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen, my mom was very angry. She questioned why I was so close to Shadow. During the argument Shadow came to the kitchen, my mother said we will continue this later. Shadow said "I know what this is about" "why do you care?" Midnights mom said that we are to young, but we persuaded her to be ok with it.
