THE ROAD TRIP

FINDING SHELTER...

As we ran, I found it hard to see where we were going cause it was dark already. I could only see dark figures running ahead of me, I quickened my paste not wanting to be left behind, the creature was still by far behind us but that didn't stop us from running super fast. "Ouch!!" I heard a small voice which made me turn... I blinked a few times realising it was Casey who fell to the ground.. shit! I had to go back, I can't just leave her like that am so not ready to watch another person die.. I ran back to help, not before Scott tried stopping me "what the fuck are you doing, we have to go" Scott yelled, "I have to help, let go!" I yanked my hand away from his grip and ran towards Casey, Scott squats at the other side of Casey trying to help her up.

I felt relieved he came back to help. The others were so unaware of what was going on, and their figures started fading away in the dark, no no no no I didn't want us to get separated, "my ankle is broken" Casey said sobbing, Scott bent in front of Casey as quick as possible telling her to hop on.. she quickly got on shyly with a quick thank you. We began running again..I turned back to see if we were still being followed but nothing. I frowned a bit, but I also felt relieved, "we're no more being chased" I told Scott out of breath "it doesn't matter it can pop up out of nowhere we have to stay focused" Scott said also out of breath, he was kinda right. I was pulled hard almost tripping and hitting my damn head on the wall, "Ivy!! Shit!".. Scott yelled my name following the direction I was pulled in, something covered my mouth tightly, as I struggled to let my self free, "calm down, babe" a deep voice said... babe? I was getting ready to bite the hell outta his freaking hand until..."Its me Andrew" he said between chuckles "damn you hit hard" he said again rubbing his arm.. I looked in disbelief, letting out a breath .. if only he could see my face now..

" Thanks.." I said quickly not wanting to even say it in the first place.. "no problem babe any time" he replied following me closely behind, steam came out of ears and nose, I walked over to Casey, who was laid on the floor, "is she alright? " I asked blindly in the dark.. hearing only Casey moan in pain "don't know yet, who's with their phone?" Someone said who I'm guessing is Jay... "Ah got it!" Scott said turning on his flash light...he handed it over to Jay, he quickly took it from Scott's hand and held Casey's leg, Jay looked at it closely as he examined it, ughh it looked bad, "brace yourself " Jay told Casey as he held her leg between his hands, he looked so serious, Mayle and Madison stood up, my eyes following them closely, they both walked  behind her, holding her shoulders.

She held Mayle's hand and shut her eyes preparing for the worst, she took a deep breath in and nodes giving Jay the signal.. the next thing I heard was a crack.. and scream follows, the grip on her shoulders tightened holding her in place.. Scott immediately closes her mouth tightly with his hands and the other at the back of her head, tears flooded down her eyes staining her cheeks. Scott lets go of her, Mayle hugs her tightly running her hands through her hair trying to calm her down.

Jay rubbed her ankle softly trying to ease the pain "does it feel better now?" He asked, his silver eyes looking calmer. Casey gave a quick node cleaning the tears from her eyes. "You better! Cause your only gonna hold us back" Madison said letting go of her shoulders and standing to her feet, dusting of dirt from her knee, Casey only stared at the floor "I'm sorry guys, I've only caused you all trouble, and thanks for helping me.. again.." she smiled at Scott and I making us smile back in return.  " ahh where exactly is this place" Luke said looking into the dark.. Jay stood up silently facing the light toward the deep darkness scaring it away, making a pathway.  " This is obviously a cave" Andrew said, "we know that Dumbo" Madison shot at Andrew rolling her eyes, making me shake my head lightly. Jay moved further into the darkness being carefull in and calculative while looking around the cave, "Jay come back, we have to stay together we don't even know if it's safe in there" I said feeling concerned.

He looked back as if snapping from deep thoughts, "sorry.." he said heading back but not before stealing a glance at the darkness.
"I'm freezing!" Madison said shivering, with teeth chattering, "me too, how're we gonna make fire now" Mayle said still comforting Casey, wow they seem close, it made my mind flash to Danny, I immediately shook the thought off. "We have to endure it through the night" Luke said laying on the floor while cuddling himself like ball. "His right, we'll explore the cave by morning, maybe we might find a short cut we can use, well *deep sigh* night guys" with that he also laid on the floor facing the wall. Madison tip toed towards Jay laying close to him but not to close. Ughh what the heck is wrong with her! I felt grumpy for some reason and pouted, slumping to the floor.i looked over at Liam who removed his broken glasses folding it carefully placing it on the ground and went to sleep....Andrew had already gone to sleep too, Mayle and Casey slept all cuddly with eachother they looked so peaceful.. Mayle gave off that older sister figure.. I laid down fully staring at no where in particular.. Scott laid next to me shortly.. he said nothing but it felt oddly comfortable, our calm breath was the only thing that could be heard. My vision started getting blurry, I began drifting off to sleep,
"Good night Ivy"... That was the last thing I heard, the light flickered off and I was gone.
