¤Lu Guang's POV¤

Qiao Ling raced to the hospital, driving as fast as possible to get there. "HURRY THE FUCK UP, HE STOPPED BREATHING!!" I yelled. I had never showed this much anger or worry for quite a long time. "Please- Hold on Cheng Xiaoshi.." I whispered as I rested my hand on where he had been stabbed. I watched his chest just lie there, not rising and falling like it used to, I watched his eyes not move at all, they rested there, I watched his body go limp in my arms. I stared down at him, wondering if he would ever wake up..

Once we arrived to the hospital, I dashed into the building, still carrying Cheng Xiaoshi. I went to the front desk and started to pant. After I finished panting, I said, "Please help!! He isn't breathing and hasn't been for the past 10 minutes..!!!" The man immediately started typing on the keyboard and then called someone. "Yes.. Yes. Yep. We need you in waiting room 3 on the 2nd floor, hurry, the man has stopped breathing." They then ended the call. "The doctor should be here in 2-5 minutes. Please sit down and wait."

"I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT! HE'S GOING TO FUCKING DIE AND IF I DON'T DO ANYTHING, I WON'T HAVE ANYTHING OR ANYONE LEFT!! WHERE. THE. FUCK. IS. HE!?"

"Sir, I assure you, he wo-"

"WHERE IS THE DOCTOR?!"

"I'm sorry but I'm going to have to call security."

"CALL FUCKING SECURITY, MAKE THEM TAKE ME AWAY, BUT KEEP HIM ALIVE! KEEP. HIM. ALIVE! FUCKING KILL ME IF YOU MUST!"

"Lu Guang, we need to go sit down.."

"NO!! N-NO! No..! I need to get him to a doctor- Now.." I calmed down but left the waiting room, walking down halls and looking for a doctor. Finally, I bumped into one. "Sorry, I need to get to the front desk, someone urgently needs me." I then recognized the voice. "Sir! He isn't breathing!! You were on a call with a man at the front desk that told you to get there immediately.. I know because he is the one you need." I lifted his shirt to show his stomach. "Okay, uhm.. Give him to me, we need to get him breathing ASAP! FREE DOCTORS!! ROOM 6754, NOW!!" He started running to the room. He put him onto a bed and started setting him up. Some doctors entered the room and rushed over to help. "Sir, sit here, he will need you there. Also put on the mask." I put on the mask and held Cheng Xiaoshi's hand tightly. I knew they were doing the surgery here since they knew it would be too late if they took him into the surgery ward. The doctor put a breathing mask on him while others set up things like blood pressure and antibiotics cords. I looked away when they started the surgery, trying not to puke. Then again, the mask smelt like shit and vomit mixed together-

¤Still Lu Guang's POV :3¤

I stayed in the room, waiting for Cheng Xiaoshi to wake up. "Is he still alive..?" I looked at the doctor. "Yes, your boyfriend is still alive but it may take a few days or even weeks for him to wake up due to the time you brought him here." I turned to the doctor and just stared him up and down blankly. I then looked back at Cheng Xiaoshi and thought how scary and painful it had been for him. I hugged him, embracing his warmth in my arms. His scent was the same, pomegranate and mango. Still warm, he was breathing again but something wasn't good.. He might not wake up for weeks because of me.

¤Author's POV¤

Every day, Lu Guang would visit Cheng Xiaoshi, only to find him sleeping.

Days soon turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months and months would soon turn into a full year. Lu Guang had now developed full feelings for Cheng Xiaoshi but still refused to accept it. Part of not accepting it, he stopped visiting Cheng Xiaoshi, afraid he might develop even more feelings, he was afraid that he wouldn't wake up, he was afraid that even if Cheng Xiaoshi woke up, he wouldn't want to even see Lu Guang.

It was now getting closer to the next Christmas, around when Cheng Xiaoshi went on the mission. Lu Guang had changed, he wasn't a calm and relaxed person anymore, he was more aggressive. Lu Guang got into fights a lot, he shut down the business, he almost moved out of the house. Qiao Ling and Lu Guang's friendship bond had been broken, they argued a lot and sometimes even threatened or harmed each other.

"FUCKS SAKE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I HAVE TRIED SO FUCKING HARD TO KEEP YOU ALIVE AND EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL I GET IS A LECTURE ABOUT HOW SHIT I AM!"

"WELL MAYBE IF YOU'RE THAT SICK OF ME, KILL ME! YOU HAVE THREATENED TO DO IT SO MANY TIMES AND YET YOU NEVER DO IT!"

"WELL MAYBE I SHOULD SINCE YOU'RE THE ONE WHO PUT CHENG XIAOSHI IN HOSPITAL!! YOU GET INTO FIGHTS 24/7, YOU LECTURE EVERYONE ABOUT HOW SHIT THEY MADE YOUR LIFE THAT YOU'RE STARTING TO FORGET WHO YOU ARE!!"

Lu Guang he opened his mouth to speak but lost his words in the process. So instead, he walked up to Qiao Ling, grabbed the collar of her shirt, punched her in the stomach and slapped her across the face. "Fuck off! YOU HAVE NO FUCKING RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO!! YOU ARE A LITTLE PIECE OF SH-" Lu Guang's phone started ringing. He put Qiao Ling down and ran upstairs, looking at the name of the person calling.

I ran upstairs and answered the phone. "Cheng Xiaoshi..?!" I half whispered into the phone.

"Lu Guang..?"
