¤Lu Guang's POV¤

I shut my door firmly before leaning my back against it and sighing loudly. WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST DO?! WHAT IF HE FINDS OUT? WHAT IF HE GETS WEIRDED OUT?! WHY AM I OVERREACTING ABOUT THIS-?! I leaned off the door, pacing back and forth around my room overreacting about what I just did. I threw my head back in both frustration and embarrassment, shutting my eyes tightly and pulling my hair. My face flushed red as I thought about Cheng Xiaoshi more and more. My thoughts were put to an end when my door bursted open and Qiao Ling almost screeched. "What is it? Did something happen? IS CHENG XIAOSHI ALR-" "He's not and that's why I need you- Just come with me!!!!" She grabbed my wrist and dragged me to his room. Qiao Ling opened the door and I rushed towards Cheng Xiaoshi with worry. "hAhA! sIkE! GoOd LuCk BiTcH!" She slammed the door and I heard the door get locked from the other side. "I'll just- What the fuck- I can't get out from anywhere- I can't use the windows or the door- I can't pick the damn lock- WHAT THE HELL!?" I yelled in frustration and right after that, the covers on the bed rustled and the bed creaked. I whirled around to see a tired Cheng Xiaoshi looking at me with an unreadable expression. He looks really tired even though he was awake like 3 minutes ago. Is he alright? I walked over to him and gestured to the bed. He nodded and moved back a little and I sat down on the bed, looking at him. His eyes were half open and a soft smile formed on his lips. "Sorry for uhm.. Yelling.. But Qiao Ling just locked me in here and-" I was stopped midsentence by Cheng Xiaoshi, "Just- Sh-Sh-Shush.. Do whatever you damn want just be quiet and let me sleep" His eyes shut and he brought a finger to his lips, shushing me. I felt a little surprised and stood up, only to be yanked back down. "SON OF A- What the- What the hell are you doing?!" I lifted my arms up as Cheng Xiaoshi tangled his fingers in my hair, his tired eyes looking into my surprised ones. He ignored my question and spoke with a gentle tone, "Your hair is smooth, but your scars are rough.." He moved his hand to my face and put light pressure on the scar that was across my nose. At first, I flinched at the sudden pressure but soon relaxed as he dragged his finger along the scar. Other than Cheng Xiaoshi's voice, my heart beat was the only thing I was able to hear properly, everything else was just muffled and inaudible. It was scary but it was calming at the same time. I leaned into the touch, humming in a delightful yet relaxed way. He pulled me down so my face was a few inches away from his chest. His arms wrapped around my body, one fiddling with my hair and the other rubbing my back. He hummed softly before the room fell silent. We layed there, none of us showing signs to say anything.

After what felt like an hour, I heard Xiaoshi softly snoring with his mouth closed. It wasn't too loud so it didn't really disturb me. I looked up at him to see his face relaxed, his mouth slightly starting to open. I leaned up a bit and shut my eyes. I was about to kiss him until I realized what I was doing and pulled back. What was I thinking!? Aghhh.. I shouldn't have even thought about kissing him.. Plus, he just got back and I should give him some space. BUT AT THE SAME TIME I WANT TO KISS HIM! No.. No, no, no, no, no.. Just forget that happened Lu Guang. Forget it and go to sleep- I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and got my breathing back to normal, trying to calm down. I went closer to Cheng Xiaoshi and listended to his steady heartbeat before letting myself drift off into a world of black.
