Chapter 24

Nayeon POV

A flood of emotions were surging through me. I clenched my fists hard. The furious at him for he betrayal but a little part of me was happy and longing to see him. The huge part of me wants to run and jump to his embrace but part of me wants to punch him hard as the hurt I feel still there. And I don't think it can be cured.

"Can we talk?" Jin Young asked.

"We were talking now." I replied in monotone.

Then, I heard Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon chuckled. I swear this two click more than I thought.

"Please baby. I miss you." He pleading.

I can see Chaeyoung make her face. But, my heart hurt seeing him like this. I miss him so much.

"Don't let him fool you again, bunny." Jeongyeon whisper behind me.

I flinched and shiver at the same time. How and when she been behind me? She's right. But, he seem sincere right now.

"Unnie, don't let him fool you again. And you! Get out from here. I don't want you to disturb my sister again." Chaeyoung said.

G! They were right. But before I could replied anything, he said something that I knew I can't forgive him. He seemed like different person that I know. He's not my Jin Young.

"You shut up bitch! Tell yourself first to being normal before you dare talk to me. You fucking freak! I came here to talk to your sister not you! You are the one who should get out from here crazy bitch!" He said to Chaeyoung.

I froze. As much as my heart hurt seeing him like this but my anger to towards him more than that. How could he said that to my sister? No one could insult my sister like that. No one. But again before I could said or do anything, he was been push hard and the door close damn hard.

"It that boyfriend that you dream for? Mann, he's fucking rude. I bet he just fucking faked before. Now, he already show up his true colour. I hope you never think to accept him again bunny. He such an asshole mann. Lets go, cub. We go for ice cream." Jeongyeon said and dragged Chaeyoung to the kitchen leaving me froze at living room.

She's right. He's an asshole. He know how I love and protect Chaeyoung but he still said that to her. But I can't lied, seeing him desperate like that its hurt me. Maybe I'm the one who make him like that. I don't know. Next day, Chaeyoung don't want to talk to me. I know she still sulk and hurt because I don't fucking do anything when he said that to him. I sighed.

"Don't worry. She won't sulking with you too long. She still need to eat right?" Jeongyeon said.

I sighed. This ghost, all she knew eat. She doesn't help anything. Then I leave for my work with my heavy feeling. As I reach at my workplace, a familiar figure approach me. Again, a flood of emotions were surging through me. Sad, hurt, anger and miss. All mixed together. The part which wanted to see her, ex best friend of four years. I wanted to tell her all about the things that has been going on these past days. But of course leaving Jeongyeon's part. I didn't let my emotions show instead I tried to keep a calm composure. I wanted her long awaited explanation and now in order to get that I have to deal this matter sensibly.

"What do you want Jennie?" I asked her through gritted teeth.

I'm not surprised that Jennie finally decided to show up and to see her best friend she had lied to.

"Uhh- can I- hmm, come in?" She asked.

I knew she was nervous, but not by her tone. But the way she was distractedly straightening her top. She was dressed in black tights and a purple drapey top matched with ankle boots. Jennie love dressing. I was surprised by how much I was in control but it didn't mean I'm not mad at her. We went inside and take a place more private. My shift would be starting soon, so I decided to eat here and be in time for my shift.

"So, you work here?" Jennie asked as she take a seat.

"Yeah. Payment is good and besides I have Yeri with me." I answered taking a seat opposite her.

"Who's Yeri?" She asked but before I could answer, Yeri interrupt us.

"Aloha!" She greeted us in her well rehearsal cheery voice not looking up from her notepad.

"I'm Yeri and I will be your-." She paused as she see us.

"Nayeon and Jennie? What are you guys doing here?" She asked in shocked.

Yeri shot me a smile while she just nodded at Jennie. It looked like Yeri wasn't happy to see her.

"Yeri! What a pleasure surprise. So you work here too?" Jennie asked in high pitched voice.

It looks like they both aren't happy to see each other. I knew Jennie too well as she would always turn her voice up a notch higher when she faking it.

"Yeah." Yeri shrugged.

Jennie turn looked at me. I can see she was feel uneasy to see Yeri here. But she quickly keep her composure. She clear her throat.

"I think we are ready to order." She grabbed the menu and started scanning it.

"Cool." Yeri answer short.

The air was so thick with tension that I can slide it. It quite obvious that Jennie was annoyed with Yeri short reply. She slammed the menu shut and was about to place an order before I interrupt.

"I would like to order a strawberry shake and nacho supreme." I said looking at Yeri.

I giving her a glare that I hoped conveyed my message for her to behave. She nodded at me but not before rolling her eyes.

"And what would you like Jennie?" She asked all too sweetly.

Jennie calmed herself down as she see how I trying desperately to keep the situation in control. She take a breath before started speak again.

"I would like a black coffee and a garden salad." She said.

I was about to suggest her the nachos here but remembering that Jennie is such a fitness freak that I refrained. And the fact we are not so okay now block myself to do that.

"Okay. I will be back in a minute with your orders." Yeri left us with a smile.

Thank god. The tension both of them hold was killing me.

"Seriously Nayeon? Now you are friends with her?" Jennie asked incredulously.
