Charlie's POV
It was October 31st again! And that means it was Halloween. I don't usually go trick or treating or dressing up. I'm too shy.
Most of the time, I just stayed home, but this Halloween, I spent the night with Austin. Austin is my boyfriend, and we've been dating for a month. Before we were dating, we were best friends.
I heard a bell ring, and I got up from the stairs in my house to go open the door to some little guys. Austin came with me, and we opened the door to see several kids, probably 2nd graders.
"Trick or treat!" they said. They put their hands in the candy bowl I was holding, but Austin took the candy from them.
"Your costume sucks." Austin said.
"Who are you talking to?" One of the kids asked.
"You just said a bad word!" Another said.
I put an arm around Austin. "Honey, you can't take candy from kids because their costumes suck. It just doesn't work like that." I sighed.
"But-" Austin said.
"Give them their candy back." I was annoyed at him, to say the least.
Austin gave the kids their candy back, and they left. After they left, we put the bowl outside and spent the rest of the night cuddling and spending time with each other.
