"Are you sure you'll be safe? You can just stay over and Brian will drop you off at your place tommorow once we sleep off the booze."

"I'm okay." It was a better that I be far away from his place and any suggestions of spending time at his place overnight as possible. I don't know what my brother thought of us but I sure wasn't going to put friction in their bromance.

Said brother was laying it heavy on Winnie who he'd been seeing for over six months now and seemed like he might settle down with her. She was looking rather cozy on his lap. But I couldn't count on that to keep him occupied and not notice us.

"If he's staying that means the guest room is taken since the twins already left, so I won't have a place to sleep on and I'm not doing the couch thing when I have a comfortable bed at my place."

"You can stay at mine." He said as some people shuffled past us and I looked at him as if he'd lost his mind.

"Sion, thank you for a great time but I have to get going." I said and got my phone out to get an uber lined up.

His hand took my empty one in his I wondered where Miriam with her glares through the night and staring had gone, with her long legs that had kept grazing his through the drinking games and the twerking show off's.

"Stay. We don't have to do anything you don't want to, I just want to make sure you're safe. I can take the sofa."

I shook my head. "That's just weird, making you sleep uncomfortably when you can have your bed all to yourself."

His eyes grew low and that feeling from before began gaining momentum. Nope. It was way too late to not get convinced to stay over and before I knew it we'd be fucking and I'd have to either wake up early and dip before my bother found out or would get caught and have the whole awkward situation get out hand.

I get why he wanted to keep me close when he finally got the chance long enough to talk but the damage this could cause wasn't my thing.

I dropped my eyes to my phone and checked to find an uber would be around in five minutes. Before I could press the confirm button he grabbed my thumb making me drag my eyes back to his, brows raised.

"Stay for a bit." He begged his eyes making it even worse.

The tagging in my chest answered the forlon look he had at the thought of us ending this comfortable feeling around each other we'd cultivated. I want more of him too.

"And do what? I hangout with you guys the whole night."

He sighed. "We can watch something."

"I'll just get late and after midnight it isn't so safe being in a car with a stranger in these streets."

"You make it sound like Kitengela is Kibera side."

"Kenyan cities are all scary."

"Okay, fine." He agreed. "All the more reason to just stay until tommorow."

Like a dog with a bone.

I rolled my eyes. My will to go home was getting a beat down slowly and losing the battle but I had too many reasons why not to stay weighing towards the 'leave' side of my argument than stay.

He bend and grazed his lips near my ear. I tried abd failed to supress a shiver. "What do you say?"

"I wish I had a car."

He chuckled and that sound washed over me, my nipples and clit playing hardball towards staying and I was thinking I'd be game too. It's just, there was a lot on the line, how could he not see that? I heaved a sigh.
