"We had to leave at this ungodly hour," I hear Peter say.
"It's 4:00 in the afternoon," I say.
"He's got a thing about being awoken up," Sirius whispers in my hear. I get chills down my spine.
"Oh by the way this thing is overnight," Sirius says.

I wake up. I have a small headache from yesterday. I'm wearing the same clothes because I had no warning that it was overnight. I get out of my tent and see Sirius walking over.
" another day, another surprise," I said looking at him. He was wearing a suit.
"You should start getting ready,"
"I am ready,"
"You can't go dressed like that,"
"I didn't have the 'it's an overnight thing' warning. So unless you want me to fashion something out of pinecones, this is it,"
"That clothing is going to interfere with the integrity of our event and you agreed not to interfere with the integrity of our event,"
"All I've got is a washbowl, a towel and a toothbrush,"
"Is that all you got? Look again flower,"
I walk over to my tent and walk in. I look in the dresser and then I looked under the cot. Under the cot was a box wrapped in ribbon. I open it and it is a gown. I put it on and get out.

"I've got your event integrity right here,"
"Yep, I got an eye for dress sizes," he pointed one and said "we go this way,"
We walked for a 10 minutes when I see all the people from last night here. Sirius walks me over to Remus. He hands me a glass of champagne and one to Sirius.
"And by changing nothing, do we not change everything. Please raise your glasses," everyone raised there glass. "Just one life," James said to the crowd.
"Just one life," everyone said. Each person turned to someone and twisted there arm and drank from the glass. Me and Sirius drank from our glasses.
"You may want to cover your ears," Sirius said to me.
"Why?" Before I knew it a loud bang went off and everyone was cheering. They all ran off.
"And to think some groups study," Sirius said running off with the group.
*an hour later*
Everyone was eating or dancing. Some were playing quidditch. I see Sirius finally after awhile.
" so when's your big stunt?"
"Big stunt?" He asked.
"From what I heard you guys do one big stunt at these gatherings,"
"Very soon princess,"
*2 hours later*
I see 4 people lining up near the cliff. Sirius walks over.
"So what are they going to do?" I ask.
"What do you think there going to do?"
"They're not gonna jump are they?"
"There gonna jump,"
"That's like seven stories there gonna die,"
"No there not there is water to catch there fall and we're all gonna die one day,"
"But those four our today,"
"Six,"
"But I only see four,"
"I'm gonna do it,"
"Of course you are,"
"Remus was gonna do it but chickened out so there's a extra space,"
"Hmm," I stood there for a second. "No,"
"And we're not gonna die. No one has ever died,"
"I am not going to jump. Look thanks for the offer but I'm an observer,"
"Your scared?"
"Well yeah!"
"And that stopped the greats,"
"It's stopping this great,"
"Come on, you look like you need a little adventure,"
"What does that mean?"
"Your just a little sheltered,"
"Why?"
"It'll be fun. It'll be thrilling. Something stupid. Something bad for you. Isn't this the point of being young? It's your choice, princess. People can live hundred years without living a minute. You jump with me and it's one less minute you haven't lived,"
"Fine. I can't believe I'm going to jump off a cliff into water in a ball gown,"
"You can back out,"
"Let's go," I said walking over there. "I hope you know I'm not a fan of heights,"
"They scare the crap out of me, too,"
Everyone started crowding around to watch us jump. I look over the cliff and notice we are high.
"We are high, very high,"
"I've been higher,"
"I meant distance from the ground,"
"That too,"
I look over at Sirius thinking that this is the dumbest thing I could possibly do.
"Why does everyone else looked worried?"
"We're low on champagne," he looked over at me. "You can back out. No one is forcing you,"
"I know,"
"You trust me?" He asked.
"Just one life right?"
"Yep," he looked at me and grabbed my hand.
"Just one life!" James yelled and we all jumped off. While falling my heart was beating so fast I felt like I could hear it. I hit the water and it was freezing. I get my head over the water.
"You did it, princess,"
"Once in a lifetime experience!"
He grabbed my hand and we went were the sand was. We were looking into each other's eyes. He has perfect brown eyes. His hair was wet but it still looked perfect. He was perfect.
He put his hand on the side of my cheek.
"Can I kiss you?" I nodded. He pulled me closer and kissed me. The kiss last a couple of seconds but felt like forever. "Will you go to the dance with me?"
I pulled him back in and kissed him. His soft lips were so perfect.
