I was just walking around the woods. It was a long stressful day. While I was walking I heard something ruffle. I immediately grabbed my axe from my back and started walking to where the sound came from. I moved the leaves that were blocking the way to the sound. That's when I heard another ruffle from my right. I turned to where the sound came from and saw a box with a child in it?

I slowly walked towards them and saw that they had E/C eyes and H/C hair and were visibly bruised at parts of their body.
"What are you doing here all alone?"
They weren't talking so I asked them again but no answers.
I sighed
"Don't worry I won't hurt you but can you please tell me why are you here all lone?"
"My mommy l-left me here and said that she w-will be back but she didn't come back yet."

"Well Y/N you don't have any place to stay do you?"
They shook their head as a no. I sighed.
"Well then why don't you come with me to my house?"
They shook their head again. "Mommy said not to trust any strangers."
"Well I'm not a stranger am I? You know my name and so do I. So why don't you come with?"
"Fi-fine I guess" A small smile grew on my face even though you couldn't see it. "Well Y/N how old are you?"
"I'm Eight, I think?." I nodded picking her up they still looked scared.
