I take the necklace and see if there's any letter in the box. There was none.

I heard my phone ting.

Jonah: Did you like it?:)
Me: Omg! This you? This is beautiful!
Jonah:haha anything for you;)

I keep the phone on the table and wear the necklace.
It looked really pretty.

"Who gave this?" Olivia asks.
"Jonah!" I smile.
"Oh my God! Look at you both, gifts , huh?" She brings her tongue in between her teeth on the left side and winks.
"Whatever." I look away, smiling.

"FINALLY." I say, seeing Mary come from the front door.

"What good news were you talking about?" I ask her.
"Good news?" Olivia interrupts.
"Yeah, she woke me up saying she has a good news." I explain.

"What's it?" Olivia gets up from her chair and comes to stand beside me.

"Jahn will be here in fourty minutes." She says.

I jumped. I literally jumped.

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" I jump excitedly.
"Oh my God, finally!" Olivia says.

I forget about everything and go to bake a cake. Well, Olivia will bake I will just help. I'm not THAT good at cooking. She bakes cake wonderfully.

"Yeah, write "welcome home" on the top." I tell her.

I stand beside her in the kitchen, observing her.

"And.... it's done!" She smiles.
"It looks beautiful, Oli!" I tell her.

"Go leave this and get ready. She will be here soon enough." Olivia tells me.

"Yeah! I'm going! " I run back to my room.

I take out a red dress and wear it.

Me: Jahn will be home soon!:D
Jonah: Woah. Hitler will be back
Me: That was funny, but don't call her Hitler, she's great!
Jonah: As you say, m'lady.

He had a good way with his words. I have never felt this way before, for anyone, the way I'm feeling for Jonah. I shake these thoughts off my mind and go down.

"Just ten minutes more until she arrives!" Mary says.
"Yay!" Olivia and I reply.

I hear a car stop and I jump to go out. I open the door to find Jahn. I run up to hug her.

"Finally! I missed you so much! You don't understand how empty it feels without you! " I tell her.
"I have so many things to tell you. So much-"
"Let her breathe, Rush. Relax. " Mary laughs.

"I missed you too and I am ready to hear every story of yours. Mary?" Jahn replies to me and calls for Mary.
"Yeah?" Mary looks up.
"Tell me they did not trouble you, did they?" Jahn asks, seeing Olivia and I.

"Bro, only if they know." Olivia whispers .
"Oli! They'll hear and we are dead." I tell her.
"Shit! Yes." She goes back to her place.
I shake my head, laughing.

"Nah, they didn't, luckily." Mary says.
"Good." Jahn looks at both of us.
"Though I think something is cooking but let's leave that." Jahn laughs.

We go into our house. Jahn goes to her room and I give her time to settle down.

Jonah:Did Hitler arrive?
Me: Yeah she did! I feel so better now:)
Jonah:You happy, so am I.
Me: Awwie!

I hear the door open and I threw the phone on the bed in a flash.

"Why did you throw it?" Jahn shakes her head.

"Nothing nothing! Leave that, how was your journey?" I ask her.

"It was okay-okay. Not that boring, but yeah." Jahn says.

"Rush." Jahn says. She looks at me weirdly.

"Uh yes?" I reply.
"What's this necklace?" She comes forward and takes the necklace into her hands.
"J? Where'd you get this from?" She asks.
"Oh nothing! I bought it, I went out with Olivia." I smile awkwardly.

"Sure?" He looks at me.
"Yeah." I laugh.

"You should rest, Jahn! You just came." I tell her.
"Yeah, you're right." She ruffles my hair and leaves.

"Thank God, she believed me." I breathe out.

Jonah: Are you free today?
Me: Today? I guess.
Jonah: A date;)
Me: Okay, I am in.
Jonah: See you at 8 today:)

I need to think of an excuse to leave. I wonder what I will tell.

"Jahn, I have to meet a friend of mine at 8 today. Can I go?" I ask her.
"Which friend?" She asks, taking her glasses down and keeping the book away.
"I made one when I went out." I lied. I remember people telling me I'm a bad liar but I tried my best to be natural.

"Okay. Where does she live?" She asks.
"I will drop you." She adds.
My heart dropped. What should I say?

"No-no need. She will pick me up. Dont worry." I say.

"Give me her number, in case you come late. I need to know." She says.

Jahn. Why just why.

"I will come back, promise." I tell her.
"Okay okay. Go."She smiles.

"Yay! I love you, bye!" I tell her.
"BYE! Be safe!" She tells me.

I go out and sit in his car that was parked outside.

"Took you long enough." Jonah laughs.
"Jahn was enquiring." I tell him.
"Hitler being herself." Jonah sighs.

"Let's go!" I tell him and he accelerates the car.

We went to a restaurant. It was beautiful. Jonah reserved us a seat. We went and sat. The waiters were swift in their work. The whole atmosphere of the place was beautiful. The chandelier in the middle of the restaurant made it even more beautiful. There was a fountain with neon lights at the entrance.

The waiter came and asked us what we want. I told Jonah to order for me as well.
We ate and left the restaurant.

"Did you like it?" Jonah asks me.
"I love it, thank you!" I stood on my tiptoes and gave him a peck.

"Well, if that's what I get for doing so, then I'll happily do it again." He winks.

I laugh and look away.
"I need to go home. Jahn must be worrying." I tell Jonah, biting my lips.

"It's okay, baby. I'll drop you. " He says.
"Thank you."I smile.

We reached home.
"You go, I'll wait until you signal me to go from your window." He smiles. My heart fluttered seeing the way he cared.

"Sure" I smiled and said in a soft tone.

I went inside and unlocked the door. I found the house deadly silent.
"Hello?" I call out but no one came.

I went inside and I found Jahn standing..

Her eyes bloodshot red.
