"He didn't." I hear someone say.

I turn around to find a guy. He was in a black T- shirt and blue jeans. He fiddled with the keychain in his hand.

"Who are you?" I asked.
"Hello, I'm William." He stretched his hand for a handshake.

"All I want to tell you guys is that Jonah is innocent." William states.

"We are supposed to believe you? Why?" Jahn asks.

"I knew Ana. She was my friend. The reasons of her death you know, is partial." He turns around to face me.

"She never told me or Jahn about you." I tell him, suspicious.

"Well, she was going to but this happened." He sighs.

He was a fairly well built guy. His voice was soothing.

I looked at Jonah. He looked vulnerable. His eyes speaking the words he didn't.

"Can you elaborate?" Jahn asks William.
"That's what I am here for." He speaks.

"That night, after Ana went to Roman. She knew his intentions, she contacted us. She wanted to die rather than being with him. She knew if she just die or run away, Roman will hurt you guys. She said we need to get a better plan. Jonah said we will fight, fight for her, not with her. " He says in a swift British accent.

"What do you mean? Jahn saw." I say.
"Everything you see isn't true." He looks at Jahn.

This person is smart.

He smiled as if he knew what I said and began,

"Look, I know. It's hard for you to believe me so I have proofs." He turned around and went to his car and took out a bag and came back.

He played a video on the television. It was of that night. It was kind of blurred but the people were recognizable. Jonah was holding Roman at gun point. Ana tried running towards her car and everything went as described by Jahn.
Until, I saw Roman and Jonah fighting, Jonah was trying to keep Roman away from Ana. Few guys, oh wait. Daniel, Corbyn, Jack and Zach came from behind to help Jonah. Jack ran towards Ana's car. Meanwhile, the other four were fighting. Roman and his friends started shooting. Corbyn's left arm was shot by Roman. He fell on his knees, he took his gun out of his pocket and shot one of Roman's friend. Currently, Roman was leading. In midst of their fight, a gun shot was fired. Ana's car blasted.

"Wait! Repeat." I tell William.
" I was gonna do that, nevermind." He shrugs. If it was some other occasion, I would have laughed at his childishness but right now I couldn't care less.

The video started from the point where Zach was defending himself. He punched the other one and ran to help Daniel whose leg was shot. Jonah and others were terribly hurt. I was furious. I thought they were wrong but all they wanted was to help her. I don't understand who's right anymore. I look to Jahn, she had tears filled in her eyes. She must be thinking about Daniel.

"I think I owe an explanation about Daniel and others." William started.
"Daniel forced you into a relationship because if you weren't committed with him, Roman would target you. Corbyn, Jack and Zach followed Rush everywhere just to protect her, in case, something or someone unwanted happens." William says.

The video went on, suddenly, William slowed down the speed of the video.

In the video, while Jonah and Roman were fighting, Jonah pulled his gun out to shoot Roman. At the same time, Roman took his gun out, the only difference being that he didn't shoot Jonah, he shot the car instead.

It all happened so fast that everyone thought it was Jonah. Roman's guards and his friends went to their cars and left the scene as if they were never present.

"No no no.." I whispered.
I looked at Jonah, he was looking down.

"I am sorry. If I tried harder, she would be alive." Jonah says.
"It isn't your-"
"Not your fault." Jahn says interrupting William.
Jonah looks shocked after getting that reply from Jahn.

"I'm sorry." She says.
"No. I understand, your anger was right. Even I hated myself for it." He says, whispering the last part.

I was lost in my thoughts. I turned back to go to my room.
"Rush! Wait." Jonah says, giving me butterflies, the way he says my name.

"Uh. Do I get.. one more chance?" He asks, his eyes filled with hope.
I ran to him and hugged him, crying on his chest.
"I'm so sorry." I tell him.
"Don't be sorry. You were not wrong." He says caressing my cheeks.

"I mean, I'd love to wait and watch this but that'd be rude. I think it's my time to leave." William says.
I hear Jonah laugh, his chest vibrates when he is laughing. I look at him, his eyes shining and he looked happy.

"William, wait." Jahn says.
"At your service, m'lady." William winks, stretching his hand out.
I smile at them.
"I want to thank you for telling us all of this. If it was not for you, we would still be hating the ones we are supposed to love." Jahn smiles, looking down.
"My pleasure. Honestly, Ana would've hated her sisters not knowing the full truth. I want to tell you guys that she is in a better place, better than that hell of Roman. Everything happens for a reason, if it wasn't with God, she would've been with a monster. So it's all for good. Though I wish she was here.." William sighs.

"Well, I would've stayed but yeah this place is nostalgic. I'll leave." He laughs, scratching his neck.

"Ana would've loved you." I say to William.
"And I will wait for her to say that, forever." William smiles, his eyes glossy.
