"A fetching performance for a strange traveler. The crowd is enthusiastic about the entertaining music this girl showcased. Although the flying mascot is oddly strange..." A man with an exquisite outfit and dark-blue hair commented mostly for himself. The mascot in question was catching every single token like a hungry beast, a sparkle evident on their eyes. With that, Kaeya raised his brow at the sight.

He has an eyepatch on his right eye that adds charm to his already mysterious aura. A few women would ogle towards the man who's unaware of the attention he's receiving, his ongoing curiosity towards the blonde musician (or might as well call her an idol) failed him to notice the approaching figure of the owner of Good Hunter.

"Captain Kaeya, you're breakfast is here!"

"...." Sara was ignored.

"I see you've taken quite the interest on the blonde traveler." Kaeya whipped his head to the owner. A trigger that broke Kaeya's intense gaze towards the traveler made Sara outwardly smile in a knowing manner. Kaeya nodded in acknowledgment at her presence and looked back to the traveler waving goodbye to the dispersing crowd. He deliberately ignored her smile for a woman who's curious is hard to handle. "I am interested. Her strange taste in music is pleasant. A song that might as well described her whole life I assume." He responded modestly.

He may not be a big fan of music - especially the strange ones- but he was hooked by the words that the traveler sang. He remembers everything, from beginning till the end. Even her expression throughout the song was charming and suits the overall song relatively well. She gave life to the dull music he's been hearing in Teyvat and in Mondstadt all the time.

He's pretty sure a certain bard is already shaking his knees in fear for a worthy opponent appeared out of nowhere.

Sara nodded back, placing the food on his table. "Yes, however, the ending was kind of sad, don'cha think Captain?"

"Hm. I do think it was a bit tragic and dreary..." Kaeya started to dig in on his food and went silent, indulging himself with the dishes which made Sara tilt her head. She felt the sentence was left hanging but she didn't pry anymore thus excusing herself.

Although it was odd for the Cavalry Captain to be quiet. He mostly has a smooth and honeyed-ready response that would make men and women alike swoon, making the conversation longer and unnecessary. If he wanted to, he can acquire information from an unaware person in 10 seconds. Sara ignored the thought for now for a chef is not known for being nosy but rather with their hands and skills in cooking.

Kaeya sneakily took a glance at Sara's retreating and disappointing form. She must've expected much with his reputation for being talkative. He can't help it, he just want solitary confinement with his opinions with the traveler. Looking back to the traveler chatting with the satisfied flying odd fellow, he can't help but scrutinize and assess them. Is she a threat or not? Or is the flying mascot the one he's going to look out for? For an experienced Cavalry Captain as he is, he sees no threat. But reading a person's intention isn't as easy as finding and fooling a thief or a hilichurl. If that's the case then there would be numerous Cavalry Captains' in Mondstadt already, doing their duties and tripling the amount of security around the area.

He can't let that happen of course. He takes pride in being one despite his upbringing.

But still, the ongoing curiosity keeps bugging him off that he only consumed half of his food, the time he wasted was used in ogling at her.

Kaeya wolfed down the food (with grace and manners of course). He left a tip and fixed his clothes before approaching the girl. Because the only way he could cease this annoying train of thoughts is to approach her.
