Jacques Schnee is removed from the head of SDC and was sentenced to death for his crimes and Ironwood is released after he resigned as general of the Atlesian Military. He asked that how they did survive, but He found that their presumed deaths were turned out to be that Team RWBY was stranded on the island, and Enterprise and her friends managed to escape the blast with their help with activating the shields.
