As soon as the clock hit 00:00 I watched as my circles started appearing on my pinky. I finally turned 15 years old and could see how many soulmates I had. When I saw there were six circles, all the stress that I would be alone for the rest of my life left my body just to be replaced with tiredness as I haven't slept well for the past couple of weeks. The anticipation of this moment was to blame. As I was closing my eyes I had a feeling that tomorrow will be a good day.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and instead of being irritated as always, I only felt happiness. As I started to get ready for school, I remembered to send my parents a message telling them that I have 6 soulmates. My parents have to travel around the world because that's what their work requires. So to be easier for my school life they decided to let me live alone in a house next to my godmother's. While I was grabbing my clothes for today I received a message from my boyfriend.

Cameron: good morning baby
                   happy birthday <3
me: good morning sunshine and thank you
Cameron: someone is in a good mood :)
me: well someone has 6 soulmates
Cameron: what a coincidence, so do I.
                   Maybe we are soulmates;).
                   Who knows?
me: let's test it today then :)
Cameron: okay babe
See you later
me: bye babe <3

Cameron and I have been dating for almost a month now. We haven't really seen each other even though we live in the same neighborhood so that's why we don't know if we are soulmates or not. To be honest he never really mentioned anything about his soulmates until today. He probably still hasn't found them. We mostly text because I'm really busy trying to get good grades.

As I was changing into a black skirt and a white top, I heard the front door open.

" Rami, I brought breakfast and the rest of the food for today!"my godmother, Elise, yelled from downstairs.

" I'll be down in fifteen minutes!"

"Okay!"

After I finished my make up, more on the natural side, I went downstairs only to be engulfed in a hug from Elise.

"Well good morning sunshine! Happy birthday!" she said while pulling away from the hug to give me a present.

"You shouldn't have gotten me anything, Elise." I said while opening the small box in my hands.

"Of course I had to! What kind of a godmother would I be if I didn't buy my only niece a gift for her 15th birthday? Speaking of which, how many circles do you have?" Elise playfully asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

"I have six." I said as we both started to giggle.

"I can't wait to see who they are."

"Me neither." I said as I helped Elise unpack the food she brought.

Today she brought me pancakes for breakfast and a cake for later. We also have a tradition: on our birthdays we watch movies together at my house while we eat an entire cake. We usually watch sad romantic movies because it goes well with the wine. Elise lets me have one glass of wine on our birthdays even though my alcohol tolerance is higher than hers, but she doesn't need to know that.

After eating a couple of pancakes I went upstairs to pack my backpack. When I finished packing I checked the clock only to see I had 6 minutes until the bus came. As I was getting out of the house I shouted a goodbye to Elise without waiting for an answer.

When I arrived to school, I went straight for my locker to leave my bag and only take my books for my biology class along with my pencil case. After walking for a couple of minutes I eventually got to my class. Inside the classroom were some of the quiet kids but James was also here.
