My not so nice soulmates

The reveal - chapter 2

Rami P.O.V

  He was already there when I arrived. His black curly hair was covering his green eyes while he was looking at something on his phone. After I got closer, his head snapped in my direction and he smiled.

   "Hey, love." Cameron said while coming closer.

"Hey, Cam." I said in a more serious tone, which caught his attention. "Today I discovered one of my soulmates, so we need to break up." I said with a sad smile.

  "Why do you want to break up? Just because you found one of your soulmates doesn't mean we have to break up."

  "What do you mean we don't have to? I won't cheat on my soulmate, Cameron."

"I never said that you should cheat on your soulmate. I just said you don't have to break up with me."

"Cameron, that is the same thing. I'm sorry, but I can't do this."

"Babe, wait." he said while trying to reach for my wrist, but I was quicker then him and managed to put some distance between us. Before I could say anything else, a girl approached us and kissed Cameron, who looked like he didn't know what to do.

"Hi, babe. I missed you. Last night was really fun. Can't wait for tonight. Who is this?" she asked with curiosity. It was then that Cameron understood what was happening and tried putting some distance between them.

"Rami, I swear this isn't what it seems. I don't even know this girl."

"I don't know why I am surprised. I mean it was bound to happen, seeing as I haven't even touch you since we started dating again. I was just too busy with my exams, but that doesn't mean it's my fault. You knew from the start that I had my exams this month and still wanted to try this. I guess you just wanted to take my virginity after my exams were over." I calmly said while trying to hide that what he did hurt me.

"It's not like that, Rami! I really like you and want to be with you. Last night was a slip up and I didn't know what I was doing. I-"

"Wait, don't tell me you have a girlfriend." the  girl said while all the color drained from her face. "Oh no...I'm so sorry. I didn't know he had a girlfriend, I would never sleep with someone who's in a relationship." she apologetically said while trying to get as far away from Cameron as possible, but before she could, it was like it dawned on her what type of person Cameron was.

"You piece of trash! How could you do this to your girlfriend?!"

Before he could answer, she slapped him so hard that even James, who was calling me, heard it. I didn't even think when I answered.

"Hey, babe." James greeted me through the phone while Cameron frowned, showing me that he had heard.

  "Babe?" James asked, trying to get my attention.

"Yes, love, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I said, which only pissed Cameron off.

"It's okay, babe. I wanted to tell you that we will be in front of your house in 5 minutes."

"Ah, okay. See you when you get here."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye." I said while hanging up.

"Who was that?" asked Cameron. "You are angry at me for sleeping with someone else when you did the same thing. How is that fair?! You are just an attention seeking wh-"

"I suggest you shut up or I will make you." the girl said

"Oh shut the fuck up! This has nothing to do with you, Amira!" Cameron snarled at her

"Who the hell is Amira? I am Olivia you man whore! I can't believe you! With how many girls did you sleep while dating Rami?" Olivia snapped at Cameron.

"Oh, so when I sleep with others I am a piece of trash, but when she does it, it's okay?!"

"As entertaining as this is, I don't have the time for it. Olivia, you seem like a nice person and I'd be happy if we could be friends. If you want, you can give me your number." I said

"Rami, you just found out that I slept with your boyfriend and the first thing you say to me is that you want to be friends?"

"It's okay if you don't want to-" before I could finish, Olivia cut me off

"I want to! Give me your phone."

"Thanks for taking my side." I told Olivia after she gave me her number. "I'll text you tonight or tomorrow."

"Please don't thank me, I haven't done anything that you should be grateful. You should hate me."

"I'm sorry,but I really have to go. Cameron, I hate you. Olivia, talk to you soon."

"Bye, Rami!" Olivia said as I was getting farther away from them.

  Once I arrived in front of my house waiting for James and Ezra, I let the tears fall down my face, trying to be as quiet as possible. I only tried to be brave so I didn't give Cameron the satisfaction to see me cry after what he did. Even though what we had might not be considered dating it still hurt to be betrayed like that. Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by some tingles on my cheeks. In front of me was James, who was looking worried, while Ezra was still in the car. I didn't even hear when they got here.

  "What happened?" James asked while wiping away my tears.

  "It's nothing." I said while feeling silly that they caught me crying over something stupid.

  "Hey, Rami, look at me." James said while putting his finger under my chin to make me look at him. "It's not nothing if it makes you cry."

"Trust me, it's silly. I will tell you later if you really want to, but now I don't want to talk about it anymore."

"Okay, we'll talk about it later then." James said while giving me a small kiss on the forehead. He then tugged me inside the car where Ezra had a questioning look on his face, to which James answered that he will tell him later. The rest of the drive was silent while I cuddled with James in the back until I fell asleep.
