Chapter 5 | Who Is Erebus?

Previously On Chapter 4 | Royal Visit Part II

"Well you're WRONG!!! I trusted you all enough to help me! To help with my darling dear (Y/n) who's gone!!! And you've all done NOTHING!!!" With that yell Erebus appears behind him much bigger Alastor closes his eyes, Erebus looks down at Alastor then at the others snarling at them before smiling.

Covering Alastor with an arm who finally opens his eyes looking at the shadow arm then up seeing Erebus, who makes eye contact with him. Alastor begins shaking his head no at whatever Erebus told him mentally since the two are connected. "I will NOT DO THAT!!" Erebus glares at him then looks to the others, "fine I'll do it myself!" All of them confused, Angel pulls out his tommy gun

Stepping around Alastor Erebus walks to Angel who aims his gun, "that pitiful gun won't hurt me Spider!" Firing anyway Alastor growls in pain, eyes wide as Erebus smirks. "But it'll hurt him instead" raising a clawed hand Swiping down at Angel's chest making him yell out. Before turning back to Alastor Erebus walks to him, "Remember what you told me Alastor!!" Eyes wide shaking his head, not wanting to think back.

Onto Chapter 5 | Who Is Erebus?

Days have passed since Erebus took not only himself but Alastor away. None of the others know where they went, Little Damon is scared not knowing what was going, as soon as more days go by Charlie gets a call from the hospital where you're staying. Crying from the shock of the news she receives Vaggie, Angel, Husk as well as Lucifer and Lilith worried about what she was told.

Getting off the phone trying to take the information. She looks over to the others as tears fall fast and hard, Charlie begins to tell them, "it's (Y/n)...her doctor said she's awake" Falling to his knees Angel cries finally able to get his wish these past three years. The wish he's been hoping to get which was for his best friend and sister to wake up,

Finally able to get their bearings everyone heads to the hospital, to see you for the first time In three years since you last were up and walking around. Not even bothering to check in with the receptionist Angel hauls ass to the room you're in, stopping at the door before opening it.

Eyes closed before opening them up you look over at the noise seeing none other than Angel, smiling softly at him watching as he tries to not crumble and break down. Walking over to the bedside. Not long after the others show up as well as the doctor, "when did she wake up Doctor?" Lilith asks, looking over at the Queen of hell he responds,

"this morning, she won't be able to talk now with her vocal chords not being used in three years but with some small vocal work she should be talking" nodding at his response, Lucifer walks over with little Damon, "(Y/n) say hello to your son," eyes wide at seeing how big he's gotten tears falling down, letting Lucifer gently set Damon beside you on the bed. "Damon...this is your mother"

Watching Damon look from Lucifer to his mother. Staring at you with his mismatched eyes that were yours and his fathers, but also with his father's facial features, with his fathers hair and ears. "Momma?.." nodding your head, tears falling. Damon smiles before hugging you yelling "momma!"

After the small reunion with Damon asleep next you. And hearing what has happened the past three years and what has happened with Alastor. Then when it came to hearing about a shadow that called himself Erebus, made you look up at the king and queen.

Eventually everyone began to leave since they had things to do. Charlie taking Damon with her as the King and Queen stayed to talk with you more, "what are we gonna do?" Looking down at your lap, worried about Alastor. Lucifer looks over at his wife then to you sighing. "You aren't gonna do anything," eyes wide at his response before being able to get a word out he raised his hand.

"(Y/n)..he swung an axe to your head and it landed you here for three years...the others and even Lilith and I aren't gonna want that to happen again" tears forming and falling. Looking over to the window looking outside, "you said this shadow is the one causing all of this, why?"

Lilith sits next to Lucifer replying to you. "The shadow said that everyone has a demon inside them internally," Looking at Lucifer who nods his head. (Y/n) looks over as well interested in what she is saying, "which..he is correct. Before any of you came to hell, we had a demon come down here, who went through the same situation.."

Lucifer looks down at the floor dropping his guard hearing the story. "Her case when she was alive..was mentally.." rubbing his back Lilith continues to explain "she had a demon that was formed by all the pain and darkness in her, on top of it from what her father did to her.."

Eyes widen more at the story. "When she fell down, her demon...became real..it became her shadow, after causing so much chaos that caught Lucifer's attention seeing her so broken, destroyed, and being so young" speaking up, shocking Lilith. "I took her in.."

Confused and a little bit not understanding (Y/n) asks him. "Wait...you took this random demon in? But what about Charlie?" Raising a hand to let you slow down on the questions. "Charlie was way too young to remember this, the demon...her name was Eleanor..her demon was too powerful she was your age," Lucifer looks at you with grief, Anger, sorrowful and hatred.

"What happened? What did her demon do? And where is she now?" Trying to not put on a sad face, Lucifer answers truthfully. "Her demon..continued the torture, even with mine and Liliths help to help her...it wasn't enough for her" Lilith continues on what Lucifer was explaining.

"Eleanor's shadow made her try to overthrow Lucifer and I, because we were the only ones that we're willing to help her," sighing sadly Lilith continues "her shadow continued the torture of what her father did, and what she did on earth but when she tried to overthrow us..." Lucifer finishes the sentence. "We had to kill her"

Your eyes widen hoping they won't have to do that with Alastor, "we may not know what Alastor went through during his past life," Lucifer explains and continues too "but we have to find a reason behind his shadows doing before it's too late, has he ever told you anything about his past?"

Trying to recall anything about Alastors past that he told you, looking up at Lucifer. "Only a little, he never told me much he planned too but, he said something about his mother...I try to remember but my head hurts a little when I try too" nodding his head "that's a small start,"

Before Lucifer could continue speaking you spoke up again. "But he said something about her that he did that caused him such regret and emotions" After you three try to figure out who Erebus is by Alastors past and what you remember, the three of you agree that Erebus comes from Alastors past. As Lucifer and Lilith leave to let you rest more.

Running through everything you guys discussed and thinking that when Alastor died Erebus manifested as his shadow, but the big main question is. What did Alastor do that involved his mother and Erebus?
