Today has been a very odd day. The moms seem to know something we do not. It has been very tense today. I have been trying to figure out what happened but no one will say.

Mom has had red eyes all morning. My guess is something happened with dad. I hope the Berry men and him are ok. But something in my gut is saying they are not.

"Alright! Stop waking around whatever the issue is!" We all look at Brittany who looks annoyed "What is going on?"

"I learned a great song that I think Santana would do great with" Mom walks over to the piano with a nervous smile "I really want you all to hear it!"

"It is a good one right?" I slowly walk to my mom as tears start falling down her face "An-and then you all could come in too! And..and sing it for competition....your dad would love it...he would love to see you perform one more time"

"What happened to dad mom?" I put a hand on her shoulder as she starts to shake "Mom? What happened to dad and the Berry men?"

"There was a car accident" I look at Shelby in shock "A semi slammed their side and flipped them off a hillside...they bounced and rolled..Leroy and Daniel made it to the hospital"

"They said to let their grandkids know about them" I look at Rachel who is just blank "We needed last night to figure out how to say it but...death is never easy"

"Are you ok baby?" Rachel nods and I see tears in her eyes "Rach?"

She takes a deep breath and nods "I will not lie and say this does not hurt emotionally" I look into her eyes and see not a lot of sadness "But my dads and I have never really been close...they are always out and about on meetings..this past year has been the longest that they have been home honestly...they almost shipped me to military school once"

"But they are still your dads" She nods "You gonna be ok?"

"I should be asking you that" She gives me a sad smile "You always check on us and stay so strong for us"

"You can be weak for once Santana" I feel my walls coming down and tears starting to form "You can let your feelings show"

"We are here to love you baby" My girlfriends walk over to me "We are here for you"

"I have to be strong" They hug me and I lose all control "He is gone! I lost my papi! I-I want this to be a sick joke! I want hi-hi-him to walk through the door right now!"

"We know" Rachel runs a hand through my hair while Brittany and Quinn wipe my tears "You are going to be alright San..we will make sure you are"

I feel myself calming down with my girls. I look to my mom who holds her arms out. My girls let me go and I hug her tightly. This is not a joke, this is real life.

"They will be in Ohio next week" I nod and lay my head on my moms shoulder "We will call in to the school so your can miss"

"We will talk with Sue and Emma" I nod again as I still feel partially numb "We will get you two into therapist appointments"

"Are you sure you will be ok baby girl?" I shrug cause I honestly have no idea "How about we make today a relax day? How about some nice food and movies? We can just stick to our pajamas!"

"That sounds nice" I stand up and wobble to the stairs "I am going to go change into something comfier"

There is nothing said as I walk upstairs. I forgot my crutches in the bedroom and my ankle is not too bad. I walk into the bedroom and to the bed. I pick up my photo that sits there.

I smile at my smiling dad next to the ultrasound machine. He was so happy for me to actually have kids. He never thought I would be able to. Now he will never be able to see them.

"You can fool everyone but me" I look up at Quinn who walks over "You did not fool them though"

"I am going to miss him" I sit the photo down and sniffle "I just...I wanted him to be in the kids lives"

"He always will be" She puts a hand above on heart and points to my head with her other "He will live on here and here! You can tell the kids all about their grandpa Daniel! Even little Danny can know who he is"

"Danny" I smile and nod "I like that..thanks"

"Of course" Quinn pulls me into her and kisses the top of my head "Everything will be alright"

For once I actually believe it will be.
