Sasuke found it hard to wake up in the morning. It was a bright, beautiful Saturday morning. He looked at the time on his clock before raking his dark hair back. Soon remembering about his outting with Naruto, he motivated himself to get out of bed.
He got ready and made himself breakfast. Something small simple and healthy. Sasuke soon heard his phone buzz from his pocket and fished it out. It was Naruto. He completely forgot they exchanged numbers awhile ago.
"Naruto? Is something wrong?" He asked poking his eggs around his plate.
"Eh-er...well...I still have a lot of homework to get done today and if I put it off until tomorrow I won't do it. I know I won't. Sorry, Sasuke."
Sasuke set his fork down and let out a quiet sigh, "It doesn't matter. If you want I could help you get it done." Was he really offering help?
There was a long pause until Naruto had built up the courage to talk again. "Really? Thank you, Sasuke. I'll see you here in a bit then."
Sasuke nodded but realized he couldn't see him so he replied with a "Sure."
A few minutes later, Sasuke arrived at Naruto's small apartment after being given his adress. The young Uchiha was growing nervous, although there was really no specific reason to be. As a result, he paused infront of the building and refused to take a step forward. He liked Naruto, but was starting to wander how much. He thought if he could leave now and say he got sick, he could get away from it.
"Sasuke? You made it!" A loud cheerful voice cut his thoughts. He looked up and the blonde was waving his arm. There was no escape now. "Come on in!"
Sasuke gulped and nodded, closing the door to his car. He took his time to climb the stairs to think of how he was going to act.
Why am I making such a big deal? Its just studying... Sasuke thought to himself. His wrist was snatched and was now being dragged into the apartment. As soon as Sasuke entered the building, a scent of ramen and misou was detected. It was messy and there was a trail of scattered papers and cluttered books everywhere. Naruto wasn't lying, there seemed to be a lot needed to be done.
"Sorry for the mess. I didn't really have time to clean well." He replied with an innocent smile. Sasuke couldn't argue, he was really trying.
"Where to start is my question." Sasuke asked.
"Right, um...I stil have trouble with math." He went to grab a chair for Sasuke next to his. The tall dark haired teen walked over to him and sat down. Naruto flipped through a thick blue book and decided on a page. He pointed to a specific equation.
"That one was the example that was given to us. Isn't it in your notes?" Sasuke sighed.
"Oh, right, I think I missed that part of the lesson."
Sasuke snatched the pencil from Naruto and grabbed a piece of paper. He began to scribble down the equation and solve it mentally. Naruto watched intently as the other wrote. "The radius of the circle is the same as the angle of this right triangle. If you use the third thereom you'll have your answer." Sasuke explained.
Naruto large cerulean eyes sparkled, "Oh! I think I got it." He grabbed a new pencil and began writing. Sasuke rested his chin on his palm and watched him work. He was so determined when he worked and it made Sasuke feel happy.
Hours past and Naruto was sitting on his couch with Sasuke by him drinking a soda. They were on a break, which they deserved for finishing up most of Naruto's homework.
"Thanks for the help. I think I might actually pass the test next week." Naruto looked at the other, "I'm sorry for canceling fun day we had planned. I'll make it up to you."
"Oh really how?"
"Um-I'm not sure yet." He blushed and turned away, thinking for a moment before responding, "I'll treat you to lunch." He nodded confidently. Sasuke smirked.
"I don't mind." He sipped the last of his drink slowly. There was silence while he drank, so he turned and the blonde was staring at him. Sasuke grew even more nervous than usual and hint of red tinted his cheeks.
"Um...Sasuke...do you like guys...?" Naruto asked suddenly. Sasuke choked on his drink and coughed loudly, trying to catch his breath. Naruto panicked and went to get him a glass of water. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I was just curious."
Sasuke looked up and shook his head, "What kind of question was that?"
Naruto laughed nervously to himself and felt his face heat up with embarrasment. "Its just..." He closed his eyes, "Nevermind...forget I said anything."
Sasuke managed to get a hold of himself and was now intrigued by the subject. "No, what? Why did you ask?"
The blonde refused to look at him and scratched the back of his head, "Um...I just thought because I see the way you've been acting around me. I mean not in a bad creepy way! Its like I can read what you're thinking. I'm sorry, maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions." He let out a sigh and lowered his head.
"Naruto..."
"Hm...?"
"...You're such a loser..."
Naruto furrowed his brows and was about to open his mouth to argue but closed it again when Sasuke had a smirk on his face. He blushed a deeper crimson as he looked at him.
"Well I should get going. I have some homework I have to do to." Sasuke stood up and began walking out the door. He looked over his shoulder at the blonde. "Good night, Naruto."
Naruto didn't know what made him more annoyed, the fact that he didn't answer his question or the fact that he was leaving too sudden. "Wha-? But you didn't even-"
Sasuke was already out the door. "Lunch tomorrow then, don't forget," He said as left and shut the door behind him. Naruto sat back on the couch at ease and smiled to himself. He was starting to get more comfortable around him and not to mention, a strong bond. Maybe there was something else, but Naruto couldn't quite touch the feeling.
Sasuke got in his car and sat there for a moment, feeling like Naruto just casually confessed to him. Either way, he was happy and couldn't wait.
Naruto went back to his desk unti lhe realized that it was night and he was growing tired. He called it a night and headed to his bed, but it was hard, due to the fact that he was getting vivid images of Sasuke. It was evident, Naruto was falling for him.
