The Burns family and the bots were currently at the bottom of mount griffin. There had been some calls saying that rocks were falling onto the road, so they went to check it out. "There seems to be some sort of small earthquake making the rocks fall," Graham says. "Is there a way to stop the earthquakes?" chief burns asks. "If we can stabilize the tunnels under the mountain, we could Minimalize the shaking so rocks, and boulders won't fall," Boulder says.

The team continued to make plans, while Cody ran off to look around. As he was looking around he found one of the tunnels. "Guys I found one of the tunnels!" Cody said through the coms, as he started walking inside. "Cody, don't go in there! It's not stable!" Graham said. "I'm coming back out!" Cody said.

Just then the mountain started to tremble. Cody started running back to the entrance but before he could get out a rock hit his head, knocking him unconscious. He fell to the ground, blood leaking from where the rock hit him.

The team got to the tunnel just in time to see Cody fall unconscious, and a pile of rocks blocked the only way out. "CODY!" they all yelled. "We need to move the rocks now!" Heatwave commanded.

Heatwave and Cody had the closest relationship. Heatwave would do anything for Cody. Cody was like the little brother he never had, and he promised himself that he would always protect the child.

The bots started to move the rocks but the mountain started to shake so they stopped. "You can't move the rocks or it will all cave in. We need to find another way to either get in or take the rocks down," Graham said.

"Cody. Cody? Are you there? Please son, answer me," Charlie asked nervously through the coms. Everyone stayed silent waiting for an answer, but it never came. "He must have been knocked out," Dani says, sadly.

"Dang it Cody! Why do you always have to be the one in trouble?" Kade exclaimed, anger and sadness in his eyes. Kade loved his youngest brother more than anything, so it hurt him that Cody was always the one that needed help. The team started making a plan on how to get Cody.

On the other side of the rock pile, Cody started to wake up. His head was pounding, and he was really tired. He sat up and looked around only to find darkness. He stood up only to fall back down from dizziness. He put his hand to his head, and felt liquid. He thought back to what happened and realized that it was probably blood.

As he looked around he saw a green glow not too far away. He crawled over to it and found it was his com. He grabbed it and started talking into it. "Hello? Can anyone hear me?" he asked, his voice quiet, and shaky.

At first there was no response, then he heard the voice of his father. "Cody! Are you okay?" the chief exclaimed. "I think I am," he answered, then remembered the liquid on his head. "I think I might be bleeding though,". "Just stay where you are, we are gonna get you out of there!" Kade exclaimed. "Yeah, ok," Cody said tiredly, and everyone heard it.

"Cody, I need you to stay awake okay?" Dani says. "Ok," he says. "Tell me what you see," she says, trying to keep the young boy awake. He looked around for a second before responding. "I, uh, see rocks. A lot of rocks,". "Good. What else can you see?" she asks, as the others continue to make a plan.

There was no response for a while, which scared everyone, but then he spoke, making everyone let out a breath they didn't know they were holding. "There are just rocks everywhere. All around me," he said.

"Well now we know the other side is closed off as well," Graham said. Then he realized something. If it is too closed off, there wouldn't be any air getting in. He panicked and they all noticed. "Son, what's wrong?" Charlie asks.

Ignoring his dad, Graham immediately started talking to Cody. "Hey Cody, how are you doing?". "I think it's, uh, getting a little hard to breathe," he replies, shakily, confirming Graham's theory. "Graham what's wrong?" Heatwave asks. "The tunnel is so concealed that there are no airways, meaning he is going to run out of air soon!" he exclaimed.

"We need to get him out now!" Blades panicked. "But if we pull the wrong rock it could collapse on Cody," Boulder says. "Why don't we drill a hole through the side of the mountain to where Cody is and pull him out through there," Chase suggests.  Everyone goes silent, all looking at Graham, and Boulder to see if that could work.

"That could actually work!" Boulder says Graham and him quickly getting to work. "Cody, how are you doing?" Dani asks. It takes a minute for Cody to find the strength to answer his sister. "I think I will close my eyes for a little bit," he says, taking deep breaths. He lays down as Dani tells him not to do that, but he ignores her. He is so tired, and just wants to sleep.

"Cody. Cody! Don't close your eyes! Just a few more minutes! Then you can sleep for as long as you want!" Dani says, tears in her eyes. "You need to hurry up!" Kade says. "GOT IT!" Graham yells. He shows the team the plan and they get to work.

Cody slowly closes his eyes. He knows he should stay awake but sleeping sounds amazing. As he lays on the cold muddy ground, he hears something loud, and it's coming towards him, but he doesn't have the energy to move. The last thing he hears, before falling asleep, are the voices of Kade and Dani.

Kade and Dani make it to Cody right as he passes out. The two quickly get to work. Kade putting Cody's head in his lap and checking for a pulse, while Dani puts an oxygen mask over his mouth. A minute later, Kade finds a pulse but it's weak. "We need to get him to a hospital now," he says, picking the smaller boy up.

They make it back outside and everyone crowds around them. "We need to get him to the hospital!" Dani says, looking at Blades. He transforms, and Dani, and Kade get in. As soon as they are securely in, Blades takes off, leaving the others to rush to the hospital.

A few hours later the Burns were sitting in Cody's hospital room, with the bots looking through the window. The doctor said he had a concussion, and a few cuts, but he would be fine. Cody was currently still asleep, with an oxygen mask on. Everyone had been watching him since they could see him. They never took their eyes off of him in fear that something bad would happen to him.

The team had been at the hospital all night, waiting for Cody to wake up. Finally, at around 9am, Cody started to come around. He grunted in pain as his head still hurt. "Cody!" Kade exclaimed, hugging him. The others did the same. When everyone was sitting back down the doctor walked in.

"Goodmorning Cody, how are you feeling?" she asks. "My head hurts," he says. "It's going to be like that for a while. With getting hit in the head, and the lack of oxygen your head is going to hurt. I can give you pain medicine so it hurts less," she explains.

"When can we take him home?" Charlie asks. "You may take him home today. I will get you the discharge forms, and pain meds," she says leaving the room. The group talks for a while before the doctor comes back with everything.

"I just need you to sign at the bottom here, then you can take him home," she says, pointing to a line at the bottom of the page, and Charlie signs. "Cody, you need to take it easy for a while. Sit as much as possible, don't move around much, and you should be fine in a few days.

"Thank you so much doctor," Charlie says. She leaves, while Kade and Graham help Cody stand. "Can you walk by yourself?" Kade asks. "Yeah, I'm fine," he says. Cody takes a few steps before he gets dizzy and falls. Kade and Graham catch him before hitting the ground. "Are you sure about that," Kade says, putting his arm around Cody.

Kade helps Cody to the bots, helping him climb into Heatwave, and buckle. The bots all ask Cody questions, making sure he is ok. They make it home quickly and help him to his room. All the walking made him tired, so as soon as his head hit the pillow he was out. The family watches him sleep for a few minutes before leaving to do their own thing. The next few days everyone pampered Cody. Getting him drinks, and food, and letting him watch whatever he likes. They were all glad he was ok.
