Cody Burns angst/hurt/fluff?

Poisoned

The bots and Cody were on their way home from a movie. They were walking enjoying the beautiful night. They were talking about the movie and what they thought about it. "Ow," Cody says as something cut his hand. He didn't think much of it and continued on home.

They got back home and Cody went to bed. He was really tired but didn't know why. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was out.

When Cody woke the next morning he didn't feel well. His head hurt, and his throat was sore. He ignored it though and got ready for the day. Walking down to the kitchen, he stumbled a bit, catching himself on the rail.

When he got to the kitchen he saw his family eating pancakes, and joined them. Cody only ate one pancake before feeling nauseous. "I'm gonna go lay down. I don't feel so good," Cody says standing from the table. "Aw, is poor little Cody sick?" Kade teased. His smile vanished as Cody fell to the floor unconscious.

"Cody!" they all yelled, rushing over to him. "Cody, wake up. Wake up!" Chief panicked. He didn't wake up which made them all panic more. Dani started examining him to try and figure out what was wrong.

She soon came across a cut on his forearm. It was blue, and it looked infected. She studied it more and realized it was poison. "He was poisoned!" Dani informs the family, showing them his arm.

"Do you know what poisoned him?" Chief asked. "I think it might be Foxglove poisoning. The flower's thorns must have cut him," Dani says. Just then, Cody started to seize.

"Move him onto his side!" Dani instructs. They do and a minute later Cody stops. "Now I know he was poisoned by the Foxglove flower," Dani says. "Is there an antidote?" Chief asks. "There is, and I think we have a vile," she says.

Dani runs off somewhere, leaving the others alone. They notice Cody's breathing start to slow and panic. Kade starts to do chest compressions, while Chief and Graham watch in horror. Dani runs back into the kitchen holding a small vile and a shot.

She fills the shot with the antidote and injects it into Cody. Everyone freezes to see if it worked. Nothing happens for a minute then Cody wakes up gasping for air. "Cody! You need to breathe with me, alright? In. Out. In. Out. Good," Dani says, relieved her brother is conscious again.

When Cody's breathing finally gets back to normal, everyone hugs them. "Don't ever scare us like that again!" Kade says, relieved his brother is alright.

The family continues to sit on the floor hugging each other. They finally get up. Kade and Graham helped Cody up. He tries to walk on his own, but his knees buckle and he falls, getting caught by his brothers.

They help him over to the couch and everyone sits around him. "Let's watch a movie," Chief says, turning on the t.v. The family huddled together glad Cody was going to be okay. They really needed to start keeping an extra eye on the kid.
