The Seasonal Tree
By Dapharoah69

Oh, dear Yashua
Strange Fruit has unwarranted personality
Yet the Blue Book value
Equals that of my IQ and walking shoes
Life's mystery
Mysterious Life
Some experience liberty
With deep sanctions
Yet others take it for granted
Innocence: loss
Lost within a myriad of conflict
We Are the World
Led to Self Destruction
Do we support each other
While in the public eye
Yet tarnish our neighbors
In the shadows
To a blue jay
Red orchids are
Purple plums
Falling from a
Seasonal tree
Will things get worse
Before they get better
Life's mystery
Mysterious life
Is this the start of the end
Same script, different cast
Choice vs Change
To those with wealth
We're a lost race
An unwanted candidate
Inferior, obsolete
To a blue jay
Red orchids are
Purple plums
Rotting on shivering greens
underneath
The seasonal tree
