The best laid plans
Lies dormant in my progression
Forgive my transgressions
I must fail
In order to achieve
A degree in agriculture
Irrigated agitation
My memory banks indigent
My loyalty is undervalued
I’m the successful underdog
Filled with vengeance
To my Father I pledge allegiance
Since I’m made in His image
My lashes frame mirages
Hallucinations puffing smoke
It doesn’t matter if
You’re up or down
Don’t be distracted
By the dust of your crown
The best laid plans
Lies dormant in my progression
Forgive my transgressions
I must fail
In order to achieve
A degree in agriculture
Irrigated agitation
My memory banks indigent
My loyalty is undervalued
