Want to know what happiness is?
Ask my fragmented heart...
For in a fraction of a second
Referenced my regards
They weren't as welcomingMy heart isn't fondly pure
My temples twitch with agony
My lips quiver with questionsFor April fool's day
You bought me tulips
On Rose's dime
Masked as your fledgling seedMy heart referenced reverence
Sunflower question Rose
Orchids dug up questionsI quiver, referenced regard
My security has fallen apart
A thought of reverence
Blossoming orchids
Orchestrate sunflowers
Dig up my remains
To make room for your cropsI spit sour seeds
On April Fool's
welcoming Tulips masked
As sour grapes
A raisin in the sunMy heart isn't fondly pure
When my happiness is gone

THE SEASONAL TREE (BOOK III of Poetry)
PoesíaThird collection of poetry I've written from a source of experience, love, heartbreak, joy, happiness and pain. It chronicles my life in my 30s as an openly bisexual black male, finding his way. ↘️↘️↘️⬇️⬇️⬇️↙️↙️↙️ Photo credit from paintingwithdiam...
