I drive to the studio that the boys will play their Crowd Funding performance to meet Josh there before he performs.

I put my hands in my coat pockets as I walk up to the venue. The cold air causes fog to blow out of my mouth. I swing the door open and ask someone dressed in all black where the boys are.

"They're back there." He points down a hallway.

I thank him and walk down the hallways to the room I hear all the chatter from.

"Hi." I giggle as I enter the room. Karen, Kelly, and the four boys sit in the room. I wave at the boys.

"Hey, Y/N." Karen smiles, and she waves at me and I wave back and Josh approaches me.

"Hi." I smile and bite my lip as I look up at him.

"Hey." He grabs my forearms and leads me out of the room.

"I'm glad you came." He rubs my arms and grabs both of my hands and we stand in the hallway.

"I had to." I giggle and stand on my toes, pushing my face closer to his. His eyes gaze at my face and he sweetly kisses my lips. "Are you nervous any?" His hands fall to my waist.

"Nah, not really." He shakes his head.

"Well, good. You look amazing." I look down at his outfit and giggle.

"Thanks." He smiles and lifts my chin up to kiss me again. I smile into the kiss.

"Josh!" Somebody calls from the room he was previously in. "It's time to set up!"

"Okay, I've got to go. I'll see you later, mama." He tells me. I smile and nod as he jogs back into the room.

I wonder down the hall and see the group of people waiting to see them. I join their group.

A few girls are standing in a group talking about how cute all four guys are.

I chuckle to myself and move my attention away from them as Karen comes and stands beside me. She gives her bright smile and places her hand on my shoulder.

"Are you excited?" She asks me.

"Oh, absolutely." I grin.

"Yesterday, Josh kept talking about how he hoped you were going to be here and watch him." She laughs. "He was so worried he would not get to see you."

"Well, I'm here now." I laugh at the thought of him getting genuinely worked up about me.

Before long, we all file on behind the instruments and wait for the band to come on.

The boys come out and everyone claps and yells for them. I smile at Josh and he nods his head at me with a little smirk.

Danny sits down at the drums, Jake and Sammy pick up their instruments and Josh picks up the microphone off from the amps. They all put their headphones on.

The crew behind the camera nods at the boys to start when they're ready. I clasp my hands together, overly excited about this performance—like I do every one.

Jake strums a distorted note on his guitar and Danny counts the starting beat with the high-hat.

Thunderstomp.

I nod my head to the beat and occasionally tap my foot.

I stare at Josh nearly the entire time. He never turns around, he just stands facing forward.

I can't believe how amazing of a vocalist he is. He's so young and has the equivalent vocal power of rock stars that have been singing their entire life.

I get caught up in my thoughts as the boys continue playing.

Josh lies on his stomach at the end of my bed with a pencil and a notebook in front of him. He scribbles words down, occasionally moving his smooth brown eyes up to the ceiling. I admire him, just watching his pure talent come through on the sheet.

Are You Experienced by Hendrix spins on the record player in the corner of his room.

"What's it called?" I lay down on my stomach next to him, chewing my bubblegum. I lift my hand up to put his curly hair behind his ear.

"Not sure yet." He bites his cheek. "Maybe something to do with thunder?" He questions.

"Don't ask me, you're the musical genius." I smile down at the paper. He turns his head to me with a small smile on his face—it melts me every time. He grabs the side of my face and kisses my lips once. I kick my feet in the air as I look down to read the lyrics. I can feel Josh still staring at me.

'Open fires rising
There's thunder up above
Giving good or giving bad
I will give you love
See the darkness rising, over many hills
Take me back to older days
I will love you still'

I continue reading down the paper and Josh's hand moves to rub my back slowly.

The band plays the rest of the set of songs and the entire audience is in awe of their raw talent. Everyone claps and screams for the boy's talent.

I smile and clap as loud as I can for them. Josh turns around and immediately looks over at me. I blow him a kiss and clap ecstatically. He air-kisses me back and grabs his solo cup of water.

After the show has ended, I stand in the hall waiting for Josh. I smile at the occasional person walking down the hall. Josh comes around the corner and jogs down the hall. He slams his sweaty body into mine to hug me.

"That was so good, Josh!" I wrap my arms around his neck. "You sounded amazing, really." I kiss his cheek. He lets go of me, smiling.

"Thank you, sweetheart." He kisses my lips and smiles. "It felt fantastic, so I'm happy."

"Good." I run my hand down his chest. The other three boys come down the hallway, which makes Josh and I pull away from each other.

We're completely open to them we're dating, but it's just awkward to show so much PDA by them.

"Y'all can keep on." Sam raises his hands up.

"We're gone." Jake adds and shuts the door behind him once they're all in the room.

I giggle, and Josh leans his head down to kiss me again.

I am so proud of him.
